My Grandmother lived here for years. I found the management to be unprofessional and flakey. My calls were not returned and emails were not returned for days. At one point I dealt with Desiree, she has no idea what she is doing. Thank God we found a better facility for my Grandmother. I could not deal with the unprofessionalism and lack of communication from the likes of Desiree any longer.

My mother had an excellent experience while living at Fairwinds for over three years. She enjoyed her time there with the residents, getting reacquainted with some old friends, making new friends and enjoyed interacting with the staff, especially the Wellness Team who took excellent care of her needs. She enjoyed the special events that were offered on holidays and some Friday and Saturday evenings especially when the accordion player, Rick DeCarlo, was scheduled and played traditional Italian songs - she would set her walker aside and get up and dance to the music! Once we moved my mother into Fairwinds we experienced a 'peace of mind' knowing that her needs would be taken care of 24/7. She did have a couple of health issues while staying there and was tended by the wellness team quickly to assist her and contact emergency services for her. After recovering and returning to Fairwinds the staff took the extra time to help her adjust coming back to the community and get her back on her routine. It is unfortunate that after this recent health issue my mother wont be able to return to Fairwinds, but we have great memories of her time in the community and have made great friendships with the staff and residents that were close to her.

This place was top notch when my parents moved there 3 years ago. Today as of this review: the most used elevator has been broken for weeks. The kitchen has been offline for weeks. Now the power went out and the A/C is broken. Old people in 90 degree apartments suffering.

I have been to Fairwinds twice, looking for a place for my mother-in-law. The reviews here were fantastic, and experiencing it first hand was above my expectations. The staff was so loving and kind, every resident there seemed so happy, entertained and well cared for. The facility itself is top notch. I will sleep well when we decide to transition. She will love it here.

Very nice (Upscale) senior living community in Fresno California. They had their 24th anniversary party this evening, entertainment was provided, live music by the “After Dinner Mints.” The food was good. It cracks me up that elderly people always seem to complain about the food in senior living communities, even when it’s good!
