I live at Restore and when my husband needed a memory care unit I chose the Marsh which is right next door to my building. It was wonderful to be able to walk over and see him anytime of the day! The welcoming desk always greeted me with a smile and kind words. Everyone knew my husband by name and were there to answer all my questions. Lisa and Amy are a joy to work with and always looking for ways to improve their facility to make it feel like home. The activities director is wonderful as well as the nurses that cared for my husband. He was treated with respect by the staff.

The Marsh at Carolina Park is a very nice place. Bright and cheerful. The people that work there are very kind. I’ve taken my elderly mom there to visit family and she feels comfortable there. Even stated that she’d like to stay in a place like that. Neighborhood is a nice area too.

Finding the right assisted living home for loved ones was extremely stressful, especially from out of state. But Lisa made the transition easier by being available for all my questions. The facility is new, bright, and cheery and mom especially likes the atrium dining and activity rooms. Both Lisa and Amy the executive director are on site and available for questions, concerns, and suggestions. Mom is settling in, making new friends with the staff and residents and enjoying her new home.

I feel that this place doesn’t even deserve a 1. They are negligent in the Memory care unit. I can’t speak of the assisted living side as far as care. However, turnover is very high even among the higher up staff, not to mention the help….which isn’t much help. They do not take care of your loved ones. They failed to inform us that our loved one contracted COVID. We found out that he had COVID after he passed away. Upon cleaning out his belongings, I found several soiled diapers in his dresser draw. They didn’t do his laundry as they stated. His bedding wreaked of urine. The lack of care is abhorrent. Please do not place your loved ones there. Constant complaints did not change anything. Please be aware they do not care for your loved ones.

Lisa Scott and the team of caring professionals at The Marsh were very helpful and compassionate during our mom’s move. What could have been an incredibly stressful and emotional process was made much easier by them. Lisa went above and beyond for us in getting the medical records transferred and making sure that mom’s room and the team were ready for her arrival. I can’t say thank you to Lisa and the team enough! Most importantly, mom is happy in her new home! We can rest easier having her in this safe and caring environment. I couldn’t recommend them more!!
