⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To the Phenomenal Team at Fenwick Landing Senior Care Community in Waldorf, With grateful hearts, our family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the incredible care, compassion, and unwavering support you have provided to our beloved mother. 🌸 Our journey with Fenwick began in the fall of 2022 and has continued through this current season. It has truly been a journey of transition, trust, and growth. It was not always an easy road. There were moments of uncertainty, adjustment, emotion, and learning. Yet through every season, your team stood beside our family with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. 🕊 From adult day services to respite care and ultimately assisted living, you provided not just services—but stability, dignity, and love. You helped carry us from a rocky beginning into a place of reassurance and peace. That matters more than words can express. 🌸 My husband and I never felt that we were walking this journey alone. We felt supported. We felt heard. We felt understood. Most importantly, we felt that our mother was cared for with respect, gentleness, and kindness. 🕊 There is something deeply meaningful and almost spiritual about the work you do. Caring for elders requires heart, grace, and a true calling. Your team demonstrates that daily. You serve not only residents, but entire families—and that is a blessing beyond measure. 🌸 The most beautiful testimony is this: our mother is finally happy—and we truly see it. Yes, she sometimes shares her stories in unique and creative ways, but when she talks about her life there, we hear a genuine sense of belonging and joy. She affectionately refers to the adult day center as her “job.” On her scheduled days off, she proudly says, “I’m off today!” She speaks about her favorite chefs and the meals she enjoys. She has even assigned special roles to staff members based on her experiences: a “stern but fair school principal,” an “assistant principal and personal shopper,” and a “professional school counselor.” Through her lens, she feels structure, purpose, and care—and that brings our family tremendous peace. 🕊🌸 Thank you for your continued attentiveness, guidance, and heartfelt service. We are sincerely grateful for Fenwick Landing and the phenomenal community you continue to build. Your compassion makes a difference every single day. 💛 Daughter

I’ve had an overall positive experience with Fenwick Landing Adult Day Care. The staff is generally pleasant, communicative, and transparent. The pricing feels fair for the services provided. They offer two meals and snacks daily, and while I do think the meals could be a bit more nutritious and less processed, they do provide consistency and structure. Families also have the option to send meals and snacks, which I appreciate. Their policies are straightforward and clearly communicated. Ashley, the manager, has always been professional and patient when answering questions in detail. She has never come across as frustrated or dismissive, which makes communication much easier. The nursing staff is kind and attentive, and they seem to stay on top of residents’ needs. The kitchen staff is friendly and helpful as well. Mr. Mitty greets everyone at the door each morning with a warm smile, which truly sets a positive tone for the day. It’s refreshing and reassuring — it makes you feel like your loved one is in good hands. The afternoon receptionist is also a breath of fresh air. The only drawback in my experience has been one staff member who does not consistently appear welcoming. At times, her demeanor can feel unapproachable, with limited eye contact, intense stares and a tone that has come across as sarcastic or reluctant. While this hasn’t affected the overall care provided, customer-facing interactions do matter, especially in a setting where families are trusting others with their loved ones. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and the facility provides a supportive environment with many caring staff members.

I want to start by saying that Fenwick Landing has done an absolutely amazing job with my sister Angela. Angela has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She is mentally and physically disabled and is wheelchair-bound—but nothing stops her. Nothing dims her spirit. From day one, Fenwick Landing stepped in and became more than just a service—they became family. Angela refers to adult daycare as her “school,” and on her very first day, they welcomed her with open arms and open hearts. From the nurses to the director, to every single staff member—it’s more than just care, it’s love. I have to shout out a few incredible people who have poured into Angela’s life: Ms. Ashley, Ms Samantha, and also Miss Sandra, who is now retired but will forever be part of our family. They’ve all gone above and beyond. Recently, Angela was diagnosed with chronic lymphatic leukemia. I feared she wouldn’t be able to return to her “school.” But Fenwick Landing Adult Day Care took so many of those worries off my shoulders. They offered to sit in on virtual calls with her doctors. They wanted to be part of her care—not just physically, but medically and emotionally. That’s not just support—that’s family. The staff greets Angela each morning with love and joy. The drivers who transport her? Phenomenal. They treat her with kindness and dignity every single time. I am beyond grateful, beyond honored, to have Fenwick Landing Adult Day Care in Angela’s life—and in mine. They are family. 💜🦋💙

I can’t say enough good things about Cresent Ridge and Fenwick Landing Adult Day Health Care. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly cares about each individual. My husband attended the facility for almost four years and he made new friends and looked forward to the activities, especially the bowling. The facility is always clean and well-organized, and the meals are nutritious and thoughtfully prepared. It is a safe and secure setting for adults with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or mobility issues who could wander from home, fall or injure themselves if left alone. Social activity and companionship, which can bolster mental and physical health is a plus. They even incorporated a personalized exercise program to reduce the risk of falls and to strengthen his muscles and improve his balance. He eats well when he comes home and gets enhanced quality of sleep as a result of consistent exercise and social activities. It’s been such a relief knowing he’s in good hands while I’m at work and/or taking care of other business. I wholeheartedly recommend Fenwick Landing to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.

My Mom has been at Fenwick Landing for the past 10 months. Since day one, the compassion and care the caregivers and the entire staff have shown her and our family is exceptional. Everyone is family, and everyone pitches in to help when needed (including management). My Mom has had moments that were very challenging. They were handled with professionalism and kindness, and the staff made sure she was comfortable and that I was kept informed of the situation and of any changes. My neighbor referred Fenwick Landing to me. It was the best decision I made for the care of my Mom. Many thanks go out to all the caregivers, staff, and cooks that go above and beyond taking care of the residences and making sure they are happy. Also, many thanks to management for their understanding and compassion to the families when making such a big decision for the care of their loved one.
