Fieldstone Cooper Point

We have been looking for housing options for my Mom in the area that offered graduated care, and eventual memory care. Getting a hold of Christina Slape to get on the waiting list for an apartment was near-impossible. We finally got on the wait list nearly a year ago, but haven't been able to get any more information since then. We have called and emailed a handful of times to get more information since getting on the wait list. Every time we called the office, the front desk redirected us to Christina Slape's office voicemail. We have also tried the cellphone number Christina provided last December when we signed up for the wait list. We have not received a single return call or email since December of last year; just marketing news letters. We have asked the front desk folks if there is anyone other than Christina we could talk to in order to get some more information, but were told only Christina Slape could help us. In talking with other senior living communities in the area, we learned that our experience was not unique. While touring numerous other communities, we were asked what other communities we had been considering. Each time we mentioned Fieldstone of Olympia, we heard something along the lines of, "I hear they are a nice community once you get in, but very difficult, if not impossible, to get a hold of before that." That's been our experience. We understand that a community like Fieldstone cannot predict when space on a waitlist will open up, but the total lack of any responses to voicemails and emails has been incredibly disappointing.

My parents were loved on and cared for so much by the Fieldstone staff. My mother passed away quite quickly but my Dad has been on hospice care here and the Fieldstone caregivers and nurses have provided excellent care and are so very compassionate. And Rachael the director has been so responsive to anything we've ever needed. She is an absolute gem. I can't imagine a better place for my parents to live out their last days.

We are so grateful for the loving and caring staff at Fieldstone! An adjustment from living independently to needing assisted living can be traumatic, but because of the loving, family environment mom and dad have settled in easily!! I love that staff greet them by name and it is clear that they really care about them. I myself, always feel welcome and listened to. Their apartment is beautiful, as well as the rest of the facility! We always say it is like resort living! And the food is great!! We really appreciate that it is set up like a restaurant and you get to go whenever you want and order from a menu… just like being on vacation:) We couldn’t be happier with Fieldstone and know that mom and dad are being loved on each day!! Thank you to all the staff who give their hearts each day!!
