Moved my parents in last week and the room we originally wanted wasn't ready yet. Moved into another room and the day of,a new toilet still had to be installed, there was many things not taken care of as of today now requests put in and not taken care of like a broken microwave, broke shower chair, broken back screen door, and other things that should have been done and taken care of within a couple days and if it can't move them to a better room! Also not enough medical personnel as it takes almost 2 hours for help, etc! I know this was taken over by a new company and want to give them a chance but I'm questioning now especially since I was told a much higher price for them! Transparency please!

I had the pleasure of working with Cindy at Traditions in Lafayette, and she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She made the process smooth, answered all my questions, and genuinely cares about the residents and their families. Her professionalism and warmth really stood out; she’s a true asset to the Traditions team!

Cindy is wonderful! I met her at another facility and followed her. Always so knowledgeable and this place is very nice. My mom can live on her own, and when needed can move to the main building. They take care of the residents very well. The food is very good also.

Not sure what happened but somehow my Dad was found dead in his room early in the morning (3am) for the 1st time after not making it to dinner, not being out playing cards with his normal evening group. I don't understand why the staff did not pick up on him not making both "normal' routine events, AND not being checked out of the facility, and not pick up that something could have been wrong to take time to AT LEAST knock on his door to check on him. My explanation was " checks were not a part of his program" and being a well known FALL RISK, as he had fallen several times since living there. Not showing up for afternoon dinner without a good reason should have been a big red flag that possibly my Dad had a major problem. Also, when taking an important VA benefit form to be filled out, the nurse I handed it to for help getting it to the correct person to fill out, took it upon herself to start filling in comments I was explaining to her IN THE DATE BOX!!! My message to anyone looking to put your loved one in this facililty is "the lights are on but nobody is home here"!

As an outside vendor, this company has been amazing to work with. They have an excellent leadership team, carrying and consistent staff and happy residents. The care and communication we receive for our patients is top-notch.
