The administration is unresponsive, unprofessional and difficult to work with. I won’t go into detail but go elsewhere for your assisted living needs. They admit someone in their staff stole or mistakenly took my mother’s hearing aids. The said after a month they would replace but I have to provide receipt. I can’t find a receipt so apparently it is ok to take something of value without ramifications if you don’t have a receipt. Sure wonder why a 94 year old with dementia can’t find her receipt. Shame on them.

My Mother was a resident at this facility for 8 days. It was dirty and disorganized. The staff and management were awful. She was admitted scared and during Covid which was an especially difficult time because of quarantine. The people at Fleischman called the police on her and had her admitted to a Mental Health ward. This is something that some Senior Living places will do if they do not want to deal with a resident. It took a lawyer and two weeks to get her out. It was a nightmare for my sick and already scared Mother. No cell phone and no access to her family. She was with the general population . Sick people that were screaming day and night etc. This traumatic event took an even bigger toll on her mental health and my poor Fathers. For Seniors to be scared or angry and have an adjustment period when being moved into a home is not unusual. Patients that are angry or scared in Memory care are not uncommon either. Make sure you ask what a Senior Living's Policies are, and do yourself a favor and keep your parents out of Fleischman.
