FORESIDE HARBOR

Just wanted to share some thoughts about Foreside and the staff. I honestly can never thank them enough for the personal attention my family got when we needed it the most. First, they jumped through hoops to get my mom processed and moved in within 2 weeks! My mom absolutely LOVED the room, the view, the food, the other residents and the staff who immediately made her feel comfortable. They promised they would take care of her and even when she declined, way faster than we expected, they held her hand and walked me through the decision process. The midnight discussions they would have with her when she wasn't sleeping, the special treats the kitchen served because someone had a craving were wonderful. Most of all, for me and my sister, we were welcome to stay over nights and weekends, as much or as little. They allowed us dinners as well. I drove many hours each way to see her and needed and appreciated their hospitality and honesty. My only regret is that she didn't get to enjoy it as long as we had hoped. It was a blessing. She died in February and they still connect with me! I give my highest recommendation to his facility to anyone who wants a special and loving home for their loved one. It is small, peaceful and so very special! Thanks to all the staff again!! Mary Ann

My mother has lived at Foreside Harbor for three years. She has a beautiful, small apartment with a spacious deck and a lovely view of the garden and harbor. The location couldn’t be nicer – very quiet with whispering pines, sailboats, ducks, and gulls floating on the water, while Osprey and hawks soar above and songbirds swoop among the trees. The staff members are very attentive and loving, and the new director has done a fabulous job addressing some management challenges of years past. We are especially appreciative of the staff’s responsiveness to Mom’s special interests and needs. The director always is willing to talk and explore customized care plans. I am so grateful to the staff members for the heroic job they have done during this pandemic. Communication from Foreside Harbor and Falmouth by the Sea has been regular, thorough and on point despite very trying circumstances beyond their control. I would encourage families to visit Foreside Harbor and have a look.
