I already wrote one terrible review about christmas eve where my dad almost died because the elevators were broken and I had to walk my dad up 7 flights of stairs to get tp his oxygen because he ran out and no one answer the phone not even the emergency line. Get this one. My dad passed away May 4th. And on top of planning a funeral and starting a new job and cleaning and going through my dads apartment myself. I showed up on a couple of occasions where the door wasn't locked. And the door was broken like that anyway, it wouldn't stay shut all the way unless locked. I thought for one min well just maybe I accidently turned key wrong and unlocked door instead of locking when I left. Well yesterday confirmed my suspicions. I came over after work to clean more stuff and feed his cat. Now i'm in the process of looking for a home for this sweet baby. They decided to go into my dads apartment left door wide open, bathroom door wide open, air conditioning on when it wasn't even close to hot out that day. They had also left a paper about having a meeting if people would like to attend that was left for the next tenant. So they invaded my privacy and I talked to her on the phone the same day saying I will be out by the weekend i'm look for a home for his cat. She in other words blew me off but acted nicer on the phone then went through my dads apartment. I hear from everyone that lives there that the management is the worst they've ever seen. I hope she reads these reviews. I got something for you lady.

Wouldn't even give 1 star but mandatory to post a comment. Horrible customer service, Maplewood manor staff lost my mom $50 security deposit along with her application. Her information isn't protected. The nerve of them asking for the $50 again along with her application. Such a scam, they should offer to waive that fee.

First 4 years of living, here with a neighbor that lives below me, Yelling Screaming Slamming Doors, Knocking at my door, so Loud that, I thought it would come off its hinges, I'm not opening my door ..... To him I' heard from another resident that hes been Banging on other peoples doors, My Friend Kelly, visited, me a month or 2 ago, She saw Him yelling out his window, for at least 10 mins, ..... So she made up her mind not To Fill out an application. Also Durring night hours, There's a rotton egg smell inside & outside The Building, causes migraines, Tenants Need To complain, difficult to sleep when the odor Is so strong, at 12:48 AM 2:03 AM .....

Resident • 2016 - 2018 Not Recommended I wouldn't suggest you move here... They don't care about tenants. My mom stayed here for years but when she died they removed her personal items THE NEXT DAY! They didn't contact her next of kin -me . They said it was a mistake, a misunderstanding. When I complained they returned some of her clothes -which smelt like trash but the more valuable items like cell phone or jewelry are still gone. To add insult to injury they sent me a bill for $800 dollars to replace carpet. Seriously! I'm not even on the lease! This is just mean and EVIL, not to mention plain old STUPID! I would give zeros if I could. Don't rent here...

I've lived here since 2006 and I thoroughly love being here. Shopping is very accessible for all of us who depend on a power wheelchair to travel. J.C. Penny, Macy, Target, Meijer, Jo Ann Fabric, Famous Dave's, Leo's, Golden Corral, Panera Bread, and other great names are within a half mile from here, so I spend a lot of time exploring and dining. I feel safe travelling here as I have had no bad experiences in my travels...and I do travel in my power wheelchair. Bus service is convenient and safe here,as well as affordable.
