I have lived at the Courtyard at McHenry for 3 yrs and would like commend the incredible staff-management, caregivers, nurses, kitchen staff, housekeepers and maintenance for all the endless hours they spend making this facility the most wonderful place to live. Self enclosed community, stand alone building bright wide hallways, places to gather, light in all rooms from the courtyard And a closed hallway in a rectangle that surrounds the courtyard. Perfect for residents who want to walk/ wander without having to be continually redirected. The staff is very friendly, there are daily events organized by the activity director to help keep the residents engaged and social. The administrative staff is very accessible, the food is very good, and the building and rooms are very clean. I feel secure knowing my husband is well taken care of here.
