My wife suffers with FTD and i find Park Ridge and Gina's staff to be as loving, caring, kind and professional with her as i would expect, but they also extend those qualities to me as well, what a bonus! She is flourishing there now thanks to Dr. Pantagis Gina and the entire staff! I definitely made the right choice! To see her smiling and interacting with the wonderful aides makes me so happy!

This memory care facility is outstanding. The staff are compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every resident. The facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that feels like home. Their activities are thoughtfully designed to keep residents engaged, active, and happy. We just moved my mom from FL to NJ and she has transitioned to life at Fox Trail seamlessly. Gina is the Community Manager and an RN. She is the heart of the Park Ridge community, very knowledgeable and possesses infinite patience. Her staff of nurse's aides are caring, attentive and keep the residents busy all day. Gina is always available to provide them counsel and respond to inquiries from family members. She helped me brainstorm travel arrangements and put together a plan of action even before I signed the contract. The decision to move my Mom to NJ was extremely difficult but the best thing I could have done for both of us. The facility is like a huge house, but it’s the staff who make all the difference. Clinically trained to meet both the medical and emotional needs of their residents, they care for my mom with incredible attentiveness and love. Every concern was addressed promptly, and my mom is truly living now with comfort and respect. It takes a village to care for someone with dementia. Fox Trail is that village-- caring, warm, and endlessly supportive. Thank you to our amazing community director Gina for making Park Ridge feel like home! I highly recommend Fox Trail. I am confident that I made the right choice entrusting them with my Mom's care.

A great staff and team at Park Ridge! Gina is an exceptional leader. The residents are well cared for and provides a supportive environment for persons with dementia. A great home like environment, a smaller scale home adds a personal touch and feeling there!

We have been very pleased with the consistent and thoughtful care for our loved one who has resided at Fox Trail Park Ridge since December 2024. The team is family-focused, highly communicative, care oriented, responsive, and forward thinking. Recognizing that memory challenges are difficult for not only residents, but also their families, the staff goes out of their way to welcome family members into the home at any time of day. They invite family members to join in activities, sit around the communal dining room table at mealtime, and even bring their traditions from home for festive celebrations or events. There are many parallels that connect Fox Trail Park Ridge to the warmth of an inclusive early childhood experience. Fox Trail Park Ridge prioritizes communication. From the first moments of considering Fox Trail for our mother, we felt supported, as all of our questions were welcomed and answered. In fact, there was no pressure or rush to enroll, giving us the time to make what felt like an enormous decision. Once we moved in, communication continued to be optimal. Gina runs the home and returns my texts, even on her days off. She is transparent and recently implemented a family app to help us feel more connected. Now we are able to see pictures of our loved ones doing daily activities such as bowling, crafts, baking, and exercise, as well as learn about upcoming events. Having our mom at Fox Trail has allowed us to breathe, as she is receiving outstanding care from professionals. Her hygiene has been top notch; she is showered regularly with teeth brushed. In addition, the home has a hair stylist come so my mom has had haircuts while in residence. The staff provide manicures to the residents where they can pick out their nail polish color and feel pampered; it is a welcome treat! If there is anything out of the ordinary, Gina contacts us immediately so that we can be partners in my mother's care plan. Lastly, Fox Trail has a direct line to a physician, so any medical questions get answered immediately and residents can be seen the same day. The physician comes to the residence, making it easy on families to ensure their loved one is getting the best care. Our experience has been quite positive in regard to responsiveness. When we had specific food requests, they were honored, giving empathetic attention to the fact that it meant a lot to my father. We had a concern regarding a room issue and the response was immediate. Family members’ voices are taken seriously and the staff work hard to listen and adjust, making the experience much more individualized than a typical residence. Perhaps the greatest aspect of Fox Trail Park Ridge is that they are forward thinking. They recognize that there are always opportunities for growth and they continuously work for the betterment of the home. In our four months of residence, we have seen a significant shift in the quality of the staff. Gina has supported a move to full-time and part-time staff who now work regularly with the residents. This allows for special relationships to be formed both with the residents and the families which has mattered tremendously. Furthermore, Fox Trail has invested in their staff, ensuring that their training is optimal so that they feel prepared to best support the residents. Most recently, we learned of an upcoming special partnership with a local high school that will give students the chance to plan additional activities for the residents. What a wonderful reciprocal relationship this will be! As a leader, I have learned that "perfect" does not exist. But when people care about their work and focus on betterment and growth, the sky's the limit. Because of the small size of the home, Fox Trail Park Ridge has the ability to constantly try new things and enhance the experience both for the residents and their families. We are so grateful for the quality care, love, and attention that they have provided both to our mom and our family.
