do not recommend bringing a loved one here!!!! soon as I pulled into the parking lot and opened my door all I could smell is weed when I asked if this was a drug free place and was told that it was!!!!! this wasn’t my first time smelling it either!!!! my sister told me that she had to hold her urine for two hours after dinner because staff wouldn’t take her to the bathroom!!!!! I can see this place getting shut down for good!!!

My Mom Mary resided at Franklin Manor for almost 2 years. She has received excellent care the entire time. She was given regular showers and they changed her clothes twice a day. They made sure she was as active as possible. When she developed behavior problems the entire staff handled her with such care and patience. When her Lewy body dementia progressed, the administrator called in hospice to help which was a gift from God. They all worked together to keep Mom as comfortable as possible while she was actively dying. She never had a single bed sore or rash the entire time she was there. When she passed away, many of the staff members hugged us and cried with us. They truly cared about Mom and all their patients. They always remain calm when the patients act agitated. Their patience and professionalism is unmatched. I admire the staff so much and I’m so grateful to have had them taking care of Mom. Michelle J

This has been a very emotional time for our family and each of you have made a difference. It is comforting to know my sister is surrounded by people who go out of their way to make her feel safe and at home. Kourtney, Danielle you patiently helped with paperwork and guided us through each step. Chris helped with her TV and room set up. Craig asked all about her and what her favorite foods were. Tina, helping with all the medications and scheduling and Alicia, with her tireless activities and patience. Every act of care and every smile has meant so much. All of the care takers have been great, they know her favorite songs and play them for her. The cleaning staff is so nice and always there to help.

Franklin Manor has been a wonderful place for my mom. From the moment we started the admissions process, it has been a wonderful experience. Kourtney is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable of the needs of the community. The staff went above and beyond to assist me with getting my mom settled in. Danielle has an amazing personality and is willing to assist me with any questions I have. Whenever I reach out to Conesha, she has been accessible and willing to meet our needs. Since my mom has been there, it's never a time that I went to visit and Ms. Marilyn didn't greet me with a smile. Alicia is the best activities coordinator ever. She's always making sure the residents are busy making things, going on outings, or maybe just a simple movie night with popcorn. Tina has also been very helpful in making sure my mom's clinic needs are being met. My mom tells me all the time how nice the nurse aides are to her. I can honestly say that although we have only been a part of the Franklin Manor community for a few months, as of this moment, I feel confident that I chose the right place for my mom. I only pray that they continue to be understanding and compassionate about the residents and the challenges they face dealing with Dementia and Alzheimer's.

My mother developed Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. She lived with my brother for the first year and recently ended up in the hospital after a fall. While she was in the hospital, we realized mom needed more care than we could give her. I reached out to Franklin Manor to talk with them and Kourtney from the admissions team who instantly felt like an extended family member jumped right in to help. This has been an extremely emotional time for our entire family, but Kourtney, Conesha, and Debra have gone above and beyond to walk along side of us through this journey. We were able to set moms room up the night before she moved in so that it looked familiar to her, and we moved her in the next day. We have visited several times and mom is adjusting to her new surroundings. We are happy that she is safe and comfortable and have been very pleased with the services they offer. This stage of life and dealing with aging parents is rough but we are thankful to the staff and management of Franklin Manor and the help they have given us.
