My mother moved into the facility close to 3 weeks ago. Her care has been superb. The staff is amazing with her. They have made sure all her needs are met and have accommodated her decorating and her lifestyle. They have made her difficult transition much easier. Yesterday I noticed they even had a table with a puzzle out for her. Katie the director, Raj, Pam, Katherine the cook and all the CNAs and CMAs are wonderful. She is gaining weight and she is getting stronger. Thank you so much for caring for my precious mother. Janet

This community is beautiful inside and out! Not just the building and decor but the staff caring for the residents! The food is amazing, I've personally tried it myself!!! Katy the Administrator is very involved and easy to work with. Raj the nurse, knows his residents, is a great advocate for them, is a good communicator and is great to work with. ALL the staff show love, compassion and care with dignity. As an outside vendor this group of caregivers always treat me with kindness and respect! Heather K. A little over a year ago my siblings and I were touring places for our mom. Once we saw Comfort and Love nothing else came close. First of all, the place is beautiful, but beyond that, over the last year, Katy, Raj, and all the staff have become like family. Everyone treats Mom with such love, care, and respect, with some gentle humor in there, too, which I love. As a retired RN, I so appreciate the outstanding communication from Katy and Raj, and we feel heard when we have concerns or questions about how Mom is doing. I don't worry, ( and I used to worry constantly when Mom was at her home) because I know Mom is as safe and cared for as possible and that if there is a concern we will be notified. That has been a gift for Mom and for our family.

My father was one of the earliest residents in Comfort and Love's first house. It turned out to be just what he and our family needed. Dad was not an outgoing or gregarious person. Very quiet. The smaller size, 12 residents per house, was right for him; not overwhelming to navigate to the dining area and he was allowed to eat as slowly as he wanted and sit there watching TV as long as he wanted. Katy and Raj are as good as it gets. Both so caring and great at communicating. They coordinated well with his VA care and eventually the hospice provider. This is not a nursing home so there are some care aspects that they cannot provide, but they work with and accommodate the specialists you need. My dad felt comfortable there for over two years. He got to know the caregivers and so did we. The team knew him and worked within his limits to keep him satisfied. They were professional and worked with us to individualize his care. I live out of state and it was a relief for me not to have to worry whether he was getting the care he needed. (He needed a lot.). The home itself is clean and bright. The Guarino's are wonderful to work with. Not only have I lost my father, I also miss working with this group now that he has passed. I felt this was the best I could do for my dad in his last years.

Heard through a resident about how professional and caring the clinical director is. He makes sure the families of those that live there feel appreciated and heard. He takes the time to address every concern that is brought up, whether it be medical or just needing reassurance that their loved one is being taken care of. The facility feels just like being home and the food is outstanding. The staff work hard to make sure each meal is fresh, healthy, and personalized.
