BEWARE before housing your loved ones here!! My Grandmother lives here and she has the past few years.. Yesterday she had to make a visit to the ER because the night before last she fell in her bathroom, she hit her panic button and no one came... For TWELVE HOURS she laid on the floor pushing that button! All night long and not a single person noticed or checked on her. When they came on shift in the morning, STILL no one noticed right away. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. It would be one thing if this was the first time it happened but it wasn't! She had also fallen once before and spent an entire hour on the floor pushing her button! These people don't care about your cherished loved ones they only care about the bottom line. If you're in the market, consider looking elsewhere where your family can get the care they need and deserve. Edit: The food is god awful, even in the new buildings, even on holidays.

I have lived here for 6 years and I love it. Moving here was the best financial decision I ever made, and it also has been good for my physical and emotional health. There are lots of opportunities to walk nearby, and exercise classes at various levels. I am single, and a bit of an introvert, so living in community has been good for me. My independent living apartment is great, and I have enjoyed fixing it up to suit my tastes. It is a comfort to know that if and when I need more care, I can move to another part of the Friendsview Community and get the help I need. I enjoy cooking, so I fix most of my own meals. But if I want to, I can go over to the dining hall for a meal and a chance to visit with neighbors. Friendsview offers a lot of educational programs, art programs where you can develop new skills, one day trips (we are going to the beach in Sept.!). Residents have organized over thirty special interest groups-- I am involved with the knitting, quilting and walking groups. Whatever your passion, from woodworking to model trains to archery, you will find someone here who shares it.

This place will not answer the phone nor return calls. I have tried six times. Why would I want to live there.
