I’ve been trying to call about a concern on a resident for hours and I can’t get through

My grandmother resided at Frye's care home at the end of her life. She had a major surgery and was in a care home, but hated it there and just wanted to go home. Unfortunately she needed more care than could be provided to her at home and was fortunate enough to get a room at Frye's. Although she was disappointed to not return home, she quickly felt right at home here. She was given such thoughtful and personal care. She always told us that she "felt like a princess." Teara and her wonderful team took great care of Grandma and gave our family peace of mind.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my grandma received at Fryes Care Home. Before finding Fryes, she was in a rehab facility that was not meeting her needs. Living 3000 miles away made it incredibly challenging to manage her care. However, from the moment I spoke with Teara at Fryes, I felt a huge sense of relief. Teara was incredibly empathetic, understanding the difficulties of my situation and my grandma’s needs. She reassured me and addressed all my concerns with patience and kindness. That very same day, Teara and another staff member visited my grandma to assess her needs and develop a personalized care plan. Their genuine care and attention brought a smile to my grandma's face, alleviating so much of the stress we were feeling. My grandma loved Fryes Care Home. She often said it felt like home, which is a remarkable testament given how hard she was to please, especially with food. The staff were kind and treated her with such special care that she frequently talked about her "girls" with great affection during our daily check-ins. As her health began to decline, the constant communication from the staff kept us updated, which was a huge comfort. When we couldn’t be there, a staff member would sit with her, ensuring she was never alone. When my grandma took her last breath, she was surrounded by love—both from our family and the wonderful staff at Fryes. I will forever be grateful for the compassionate and dedicated care she received. I highly recommend Fryes Care Home to anyone in need of a loving and supportive facility for their loved ones.

I visited this facility today with my therapy dog. The residents all seemed pretty happy. Everything seemed clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly. Both staff and residents were very appreciative for our visit, thanked us and requested we return.
