Gables is a small 15 bed assisted, locked memory care facility. Families can be sure their loved ones are safe. All the rooms have private showers. Laundry & meals are included. The Director, Kaly worked well with me to make sure my husbands needs were addressed. Karla Smith, the RN was the go to person for my husbands medical needs until he was put on Hospice. Jamie Perry, the activity & backup director kept the mood jovial. Michelle kept my husbands meds in order. They truly helped me get thru almost 4 years he resided before his death. When his "issues" weren't addressed I reminded them. They were respectful of what I requested.

Not recommended for Memory care and probably not for assisted living unless something has changed recently. (Suggesting that you visit often to make sure there is care and good procedures specifically helping your loved one.) My grandparent was there. Food was placed in his room and then picked up, as if it didnt matter whether he had eaten or not, and without a report to family that it was happening until we witnessed food leave repeatedly, with no concern that it was untouched. It seemed like staff wasn't interested in assisting or caring for the residents. Understanding that they have protocol to follow, I would suggest that there was an oversight/corporate problem, including understaffing. No scheduled activities except the TV running. Specific items we brought to his room, like clothing items or towels going missing. He ended up with others' laundry getting mixed up as well. Again, the biggest concern was that he wasn't being fed, and he didn't even have drinking water in the room. The monthly fee spiked during his stay, (a corporate decision, from what I understand) while lack of "care" persisted. The people with the most heart left, which is such a shame if they were understaffed or if there were other problems. This location has so much potential to really serve its residents and live up to the expectation they established and promote.

My mom received the best care from the staff at The Gables of North Logan during the last two years of her life. They treated her with love, kindness and dignity from the moment she moved in to the moment she left this earth. The facility is small with a warm family feel to it, which made my mom very and comfortable and happy. I highly recommend The Gables of North Logan to anyone looking for an assisted living that is a home away from home.

Our mother moved into the Gables in September 2019. Rachel and the staff made the move easy and hassle-free. From then until now, the care and concern for our mom has been superb. They truly care about her, even as her health and her memory have declined. The small size of the facility helps promote one-on-one attention. We are grateful for them.

Karla, their in Home care director, has been helping me tackle and understand the respite care system. She even helped me understand the different programs and insurances that can pay for respite care. She is the kind of person you just feel an instant genuine friendship with and she goes the extra mile to help you! I didn’t know before that The Gables also provides non medical in home respite care. My 18 year old daughter has been disabled for the last year and a half. A year and a half ago her immune system attacked her brain. Before that she was a healthy, active, brilliant 16 year old. She now needs help with all of her basic needs and currently has many severe mental and physical disabilities. Her road to recovery has been so long and hard. It has been amazing to experience getting help with respite care from the Gables. The day they came my daughter made an instant connection. She loved it so much and it brought out her old personality. She has always lit up around people so not being able to be with her friends like she used to has been wearing her down. It filled my heart to get to see her friend collecting in action again. We both loved every minute. I am beyond excited to start up some respite care!!
