I came from Santa Barbara community housing, and these folks brought me in and I am so happy to be here at the Gables. Assistant living the residence and the facilities make my day a great day each and every day.

My father has lived at The Gables for a year and were so happy that we moved him there. The care staff, the med techs, the administrators are wonderful to work with, they really understand elder care and their approach to both patients and family is kind, respectful and solution- oriented. In one instance my Dad accidentally threw his wallet away with some clothes and a care team member searched through a dumpster to find it. Another time we traveled out of town for 2 1/2 weeks and the med tech staff had to manage a health crisis that sprang up. They took my dad to his doctor, interfaced with Drs office, home health, and us and worked diligently to make all go as smoothly as possible. When glitches inevitably occur, they work with us to resolve them as soon as possible and with the most care for my Dad. The grounds are well cared for and gorgeous. We’re so grateful that Dad gets to walk across campus for meals in that beautiful setting. We could not have made a better choice. Many thanks to the entire Gables Team, we appreciate you!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It truly means a lot to our team. We're so happy to hear that your father has had such a positive experience over the past year. The stories you shared perfectly capture who our team is and how much they care. Whether it's digging through a dumpster to find a wallet or helping manage an unexpected health issue, our staff consistently shows up with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to help. Thank you for trusting us with your dad's care. We know what a big decision that is, and we're grateful to be part of his life and yours. I'll be sure to share your kind words with the team. They will mean so much to everyone. With gratitude, The Gables Team

After a recent visit with a family member, I was truly impressed by the warmth, compassion, and professionalism shown by DeeDee and her amazing team. The care they provide to residents and the strong sense of community they create are exceptional. I highly recommend this assisted living community to anyone seeking outstanding care and leadership.
