GABLES OF OJAI, THE

During a tough stretch with my Dad's health The Gables was wonderful. They thoughtfully and quickly worked with me to get Dad into a nice garden room. Staff was quickly brought up to speed on his condition and care. I'll recommend The Gables to everyone that needs care for an elderly loved one.

Our grandmother had been there for almost 6 months and our experience since she been there she communicated that when she press her pendant she waiting usually from 30min to an hour to be seen she now has welts on her body and that she says non stop the kitcehen is refusing to make her her dietary needs due to the lack of workers and she says the management for house issiue don’t come till about almost 1-2 weeks, my grandmother had never experienced such a terrible living experience till she came here too almost no support since the management been saying it all her her own expense almost paying $10,000 a month I’m just grossed by how much the expecte us to pay for basic care, remind you they don’t take your family outside they are expective to take your own family member outside ever single day, I’m sorry for the price we’re paying why aren’t the needs met at all, you have several day without cook in the kitchen, the amount of time for care is way too long and the fact you and your worker show no compassion to the resident; I wish I reported this place way sooner hell the elderly home 20 feet before your facility treat the elderly way better so far than I had seen the GABLES OF OJAI treat a single human being with any humanity especially from the kitchen staff and the from staff in the two different rooms, I’m sorry your head director dee Dee and your front receptionist who a little older and thin honestly do nothing to make me wanna recommend anyone to come to this elderly home and honestly I now see why you have so many empty room due to the level of care you give for the price you list
