Our tour with Kim Nelson was exceptional! The Villa apartment is immaculate, and she took the time to answer every question including safety details. Qiana Carroll's and Kim's positive connections to the residents made us feel comfortable and included throughout the visit -- that's encouraging when someone's transitioning to another stage of life. I am a former resident of The Villa at San Mateo. I truly enjoyed my experience while living at the Villa. Management is very friendly and accommodating. Qiana and Stephanie, hands down, have been very positive, responsive, and helpful. I can truly say they are a five-star team! The monthly activity calendar holds fun and engaging things to do that encourage socializing with neighbors. I especially love the interior decor that gives the place an extra flair of extravagance; in addition, the exterior palm trees by the pool extend a feeling of being on vacation and make for enjoyable relaxation any time of day.

My kids and I came for an outreach piano recital. We enjoyed the bright, clean, and warm atmosphere. It was extra special to have residents be part of the audience, and my kids were encouraged by the kind remarks regarding their performance. Thank you so much for hosting us!

I recently visited The Villa at San Mateo for the first time while attending an event they were hosting for residents, and I was thoroughly impressed. The main building is absolutely beautiful, and the coffee lounge in particular felt more like a stylish restaurant than a typical common area. It was spacious, elegant, and had excellent acoustics — I could hear the piano clearly from the back of the room, which made the piano concert even more enjoyable. The residents I met were warm, pleasant, and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and left me with a very positive impression of the community.

I recently organized a piano recital for my students at The Villa and it was such a great experience! Kim and Stephanie were amazing to work with - very kind and helpful. The residents were incredibly sweet and welcoming to my students, and their kind words really meant a lot to the families who came. We held the recital in the Coffee Lounge, which was a beautiful space - spacious, well set up, and perfect for a concert. The whole place had such a warm and inviting vibe. I'm so glad we got to share music in such a supportive and friendly environment. Highly recommend The Villa!
