As a hospice nurse, I have the privilege of regularly visiting various facilities and homes for elderly patients. One particular place that stands out is Garden Silver Town. It boasts a remarkable feature—a sizable, sun-drenched garden located in the heart of the complex. This tranquil space serves as a gathering point for all residents seeking warmth and companionship. It's not just the residents who benefit from some fresh air after their care, but the caregiving staff as well. If you've worked as a caregiver, you know how refreshing it can be to step outside after tending to the patients. A close friend of mine, who works as a care staff member, consistently expresses how much she enjoys her time at this facility. She particularly appreciates the expansive open area where patients can relax under the cool shade of sun umbrellas, creating a soothing environment for everyone. -Clara, Hospice RN

Garden Silver Town is now the new residence for my father, who is dealing with dementia. The facility, however, faces a bit of a challenge with limited parking space for visitors. Fortunately, I managed to find a parking spot without much difficulty. Upon ringing the bell, we were greeted by the manager herself. It was quite a pleasant surprise. The manager's warm demeanor immediately put us at ease, making us feel welcome. Our father's room was shared with another gentleman. While we had some expectations about cleanliness, the premises fell a bit short. It appeared that the place had been converted from apartments to Silver Town. Unfortunately, we spotted a few bugs in the room, and to add to that, the TV wasn't functioning during our visit. Arriving around lunchtime, we had the chance to observe how meals are provided. Despite our father not eating much, we were touched by the efforts of the caregiving staff. One of the caregivers engaged in conversation to encourage our father to eat more. This small gesture truly mattered, and I hope it continues, whether we're present or not. Taking a stroll down the facility's corridor with our father, we noticed that it's generally well-maintained. What matters most to me is that they care for my father wholeheartedly, going beyond the call of duty. I understand that caring for someone with dementia, especially someone prone to wandering, is a challenge. Nonetheless, I humbly request all the staff to care for my father with the utmost compassion and diligence.

My father was here, and all the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They were professional angels. The facilities were comfortable, and the location in Koreatown was fantastic. Thank you so much, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful care you took of my father.
