GARDENS AT LUTHER MANOR (THE)

We transitioned our loved one from rehabilitation to assisted living a few weeks ago. The assisted living staff have all been great and extremely helpful. They are easily accessible and quick to answer any questions. The facility is very clean compared to other places we toured. Our loved one is adjusting well and we are grateful.

Well I heard it’s not like it used to be and now I understand and see why. I visits my loved one there multiple times and the service is horrible. The staff gets upset if you call and need their assistance to help the patient. When they do finally come, they have attitude and doesn’t want to do the job. When I be there visiting, It be hours before anyone come and check on my love one . My love one will call because they needs assistance to the bathroom. They will not show up right away!!!!!!!!!!! The food looks old and my loved one had hair in the food. So we do bring our love one food. what they bring out for the patient to eat I wouldnt let my dog eat it. We all hate that our love one has to be there. We don’t like going there too much seeing our loved one in that predicament. The Rehab unit is nasty and the room is nasty, garbage filled up and they don’t care. This is so sad

From the first time that we visited Luther Manor with my almost 93 year old mother in law (MIL), Natalie Singh has been so very welcoming, providing us with all of the info that we needed and has answered all of our questions. That was 6+ months ago, however we kept in touch so that now when my MIL was ready for an ALF, Natalie once again welcomed us into their community. Natalie along with the entire team at Luther Manor helped us make the transition very smooth. Natalie is very personable, compassionate and has always taken the time to help us with whatever our family and MIL has asked of her. We feel blessed to have had Natalie help us navigate thru a process which we haven’t been thru before. My MIL is truly enjoying her new home at Luther Manor and I feel that we have Natalie and the team at Luther Manor to be most grateful for!!

Luther Manor is a very warm and inviting foundation. Staff went out of their way to understand the situation I was in and all of it's complications. I was trying to place my sister along with a very dear friend of hers. Both of them are completely different levels of care. I felt like I was in an impossible situation. Donna from Luther Manor really kept communicating. And, through a lot of hard work from their whole team, things came together. I know Luther Manor is a business but the main focus is truly the over all needs, of a potential new resident, and how to give them the best quality of life possible. My sister has been given her life back and is adjusting better that I could have ever imagined. And her friend, needing a higher level of care, is heading over shortly. What a Miracle! The staff welcomed us and answered all of our questions for our mother. A very warm, personalized, and efficient experience. The newly renovated Assisted Living building is well designed, bright and cheerful. There are many areas for activities both interactive and peaceful. Our only concern was the strong odor on the second floor outside the dining room. We realize this is a work in progress with certain residents. Living Suites are an ideal size; LR and BR have large window views. Bathrooms are spacious for walker/wheelchair access. All in all, we highly recommend.
