GARDENS AT SUMTER

My experience with The Gardens of Sumter has been exceptional. The staff truly go above and beyond to care for residents with compassion and patience. The building is clean, welcoming, and feels like home. The meals are delicious, activities are engaging, and communication with families is excellent. I’m grateful to everyone here for providing such a safe, supportive environment for their residents.

Datra Richardson the Sales Manager was such a great resource and was prompt with every request and question we had. She made the whole transition so easy. The Gardens are very lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Thank you Datra for everything!!

My husband and I were looking for a memory care facility for his mom and we heard about The Gardens at Sumter. At first, we were skeptical because it’s an hour away from our home. When I called to see if they have any openings, I spoke with Datra Richardson. She was a joy to speak with. I heard the compassion for the residents and the love of her job in her voice. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. I scheduled a tour for my husband and I and mother in law. This place did not disappoint! The facility didn’t have a smell. The residents looked content and every staff person we encountered was pleasant. We were impressed with the way they have the hall painted and the vinyl records on the wall. They’re like a family there and we saw that in the way they treat the residents. My mother in law is happy there and she being well taken care of. My husband and I are glad we made the decision to place her at The Gardens of Sumter.

My aunt has been a resident of The Gardens at Sumter for the past 3 months. She has dementia and trying to find the perfect place to care for her has been a challenge for the past couple of years. I am so happy that i found this place. The care they gave provided thus far has been very rewarding. It’s the small details that impress me the most. Whenever I call or reach out they respond and answers all of my questions. This is really important to me, especially since I’m out of town and don’t get to see my aunt often.
