My grandmother was 96 years old with demencia due to her varios medical diagnosis I was referred by her doctor to take in consideration looking at an Alf for future residency. I never believed an Alf could take care of a loved one better than family. Unfortunately I could not stop working to care for grandma. I went to visit a couple of Alf’s in the Tampa area when I finally went to Gardens of time ll I fell in love with the place. The facility was sparkling clean. From the residents room to the bathroom to the living area, laundry room and kitchen everything spotless. Three nurses working daily plus one over night to attend the residents. The daily Breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks menu excellent. Gardens of Time Alf’s make their residents feel like family. The residents families could arrive at any time to visits and find everything perfectly clean and organized. Residents always bathed well dressed with their own clothes and always smelling good. Grandma always smelled like a baby the activities were amazing. The staff played music residents sang along, they had movie times. They celebrate all holidays amazing lunches for Mother’s Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and the residents Birthdays. The Owner Ana Rodriguez and daughter administrator Marta Medina were available 24/7. The nurses Yasiri, Maydelin, Carlos, Carmen, and Kety loved my grandma the were very caring , alert and attentive with her. It is sad to say my grandmother passed away 1/4/24 of natural causes. In my heart I loved and cared for her till her last breath. The staff of Gardens of time ll and the family will miss Grandma. I am so very glad and thankful to god I found Gardens of time to care for my grandmothers needs until she gained her wings and took her journey to heaven. There should be more ALF’s like Garden of times. A Place that I would like to live at when I become an elder. Thank you all.

Not sure where to begin. This review is for the Garden of Time III location. This place started off well, clean and organized. Martha and her husband were accomodating and helpful. However, there were more than a few times I caught thr owner yelling at my father when he had dementia. I had a camera. She never once apologized.

Extremely grateful for the owner Marta and the staff. Although it does seem like they need more staff and assistance the staff that they do have care for my grandmother very very well. I want to communicate how ana and the others send me photos of my mother when she has occasions like her birthday, Thanksgiving etc. I live all the way in miami and therefore can not see my mother wherever I please. Also I love how my mother voices to me how good they are to her and how she feels loved and belonged. They even do her hair and nails which I know for a fact my mother couldn't do on her own.she is diabetic and suffers from dementia the way they are able to handle both is impressive to me. I get to take my mother anywhere I want and do whatever activity I can with her. I've never seen them do activities but once again I can agree the only con of this company is how under staff they are. Awsome job to those who do work there, for you can see how hard working and caring they are for the residents there. Good place with decent people

I normally don't do reviews but in the matter of moral obligation to future care givers for their love one's care in planning for permanent residency. This facility does appear and presents itself as a attentive fit in being clean and professional. Quite the opposite the residents are fed like preschool after care with non nutritional value for starters their activities are the basic human needs. The grand moment is lined up in your regular recliner for a 8 hour day with a large TV with news or non entertainment. If you're lucky enough to have a Birthday you can be an actor for the live entertainment faux. The staff is overwhelmed with caring for 9 plus residents which does not allow for special extras or an unforseen situation which normally could happen with elderly.

If you are looking for a decent ALF for your dear loved ones, keep on looking and researching. Appearance are very deceiving, dig deeper on what goes behind the scenes with elder care and the ALF standard protocol or lack of. The lack of communication and profesionalisim here are extremely poor. Staff and owner are overbearing, condescending, controlling, and extremely rude. I'm expressing my point of view and true facts. I often wonder how ALF facilities pass inspection. They must be blind. Sadly but true many small home run ALF manage their business as a money profit, hiring unqualified staff, workers that do not know any English, understaffed ratio to patients not sufficient, poor cheap quality food, full of carbs, sugar, caffeine offering no nutritional value. Leaving the elders go hungry asking for food and denying them. Not only is it unfair for the elders and their families whom are paying for proper care and nutrition. But also for the staff that are not properly trained. Giving them an immense amount of responsibility to clean, cook and care for the elders, ratio one staff to ten patients. Not sufficient or adequate enough I believe, but who knows maybe other families are ok with these standards.
