We can't say enough. The staff - from the Director, medical team, care givers, maintenance team, housekeeping, the chef and front office staff all became family during my mother in laws stay at Avista. They treated us all so well and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you to the entire team!

The entire staff at Avista Garden City made us feel right at home during my mother's stay. From the caregivers, medication techs, housekeepers, activity director, kitchen chef, executive director, resident care coordinator to everyone else, we were treated with respect and care. Everyone went above and beyond to treat our needs well and take good care of Mom in what was for us a difficult time. She enjoyed the food and the room with a nice view out onto grass and trees. Everyone was willing to go beyond a shallow, surface relationship to a deeper sort of one-on-one experience. We learned a lot about assisted living, having not ever been through this process before. Truly amazing staff, Gloria and Scott have made the transition for our mom a truly seamless process. Staff are very attentive and friendly making mom feel welcome from the start. The facility is clean and home like, mom is settling into her new apartment and is enjoying all her new friends.

Moved our family member into Avista a month ago from out of state. The process was smooth and seamless. From the quiet setting surrounded by mature trees, to the warm and inviting interior and lovely apartments, to the amazing director and staff who work hard to ensure that your loved one feels welcomed and comfortable, we have been so very pleased with our decision. Avista is a hidden gem in Garden City. The prices are good, the care is outstanding and truly individualized to your loved one's particular needs, and the residents seem very happy and content. Lots of wonderful activities. We looked at a number of places and Avista just stood out for us. This place is really awesome. Definitely check it out.

Avista Senior Living is a friendly and helpful place for assisted living in the Boise area. The apartments have a kitchenette and walk in shower. My friend stayed in the respite room after her rehab and the staff was very attentive. Thank you!
