My mother was under hospice care at Gelzhen Guest Home during her final 2 months after a long illness. Floyd and his staff made moving her in an easy transition from the hospital. All the staff I encountered were kind, responsive when I asked questions or needed something. Floyd also helped coordinate my mom's care with her hospice provider which made things smoother since my family lives farther away. Floyd was also responsive whenever I had a question or wanted an update on how my mom was doing. My mom had her own room with a bright window, her own TV with plenty of channels, well prepared meals, and kind staff. I felt like the staff cared about keeping my mom comfortable and in less pain, which brought me peace of mind as I couldn't be with her everyday. Thank you.

My mom was at this facility til her passing. They took great care of my mom. I would reccomend this place to anyone who needs a loved one taken care of. Floyd and his staff are very helpful and quick to respond for any situation.

This place should be closed down. Extremely under staffed. Really frightful

The facility is extremely clean due to the care & concern of the family caregiver unit. They are responsible, soft spoken & know how to work with & handle guests with Alzheimer's & Dementia. They are very positive and interact with the guests frequently!!! They have chickens, cats & dogs and a vegetable garden which adds to the home style setting of the facility. The individual rooms are spacious & the fees are very reasonable. The location is excellent next to downtown Manteca and close to two 24 hour a day Hospitals with emergency room service. It is a beautifully kept older home with a front porch, which the guests use frequently! I no longer worry so much about my sister because she is well cared for!!!
