GENESIS MANOR V

My Mom has been living at Genesis Manor V as she was no longer able to care for herself and has dementia! She has been living here for 3 years and we consider our caregivers Mom's Angels and family! It was hard for us to place her, but my Mom transitioned to her new home in less than a month, and we are so grateful ! I knew when I walked in it was perfect for Mom! She's happy and she's fed, 3 times a day w/snacks, bathed regularly, laundry done, room kept very clean, and we can visit her whenever we want to ! We use to take her out for meals, holidays, appointments, etc, however her medical issues now keep her homebound and she's okay and happy as long as her Angels (caregivers) are present and I like the continuity of care she continues to receive and they love her and we love them!!

After the doctor told us grandma needs full-time care because of Alzheimer's disease and frequent falls. After research and visiting other facilities, Genesis Manor V was the best choice for us. Warm and homey environment, friendly and caring staff, management with professional medical knowledge. Grandma told us that she felt loved and cared for. During my grandma's final stage, they cooperated with the Kaiser hospice nurse and doctor to give Grandma the best care. We are grateful for Genesis staff and Kaiser Hospice team.

A little over 3 ago my father-in-law had a stroke and as a result lost the use of the entire left side of his body making him bed ridden. After 90 days in a rehab facility insurance no longer contributed to his care and we were faced with finding him an affordable long term solution. Because we did not have long term care insurance at the time of his stroke whatever solution we found would have to be 100% out of pocket. Because of the type of care my father-in-law needs everything we were finding was WAY out of our price range and most of the places we could afford were nasty/smelly facilities that we would not have been happy with. I am convinced this facility came to us through divine intervention. I was literally in tears when I called and left a message with the owner of this house, this felt like our last chance before the hospital my father-in law was in literally kicked him out. They had just had a tenate leave and when we went to the house and met the staff is was A PERFECT FIT!!!!!!! The staff was nice, the house was nice and the price wasn’t outrageous. We are so so thankful we found geneisis manor v and we appreciate the wonderful care they give my father-in-law. He is happy and we have piece of mind that he is being looked after in ways we are unable to provide from home.

After a stroke, my mother-in-law has been at this location for almost a year. After visiting and interviewing other facilities, Genesis V was the best. We needed attentive, knowledgeable and mostly caring people to care for her and we have not been disappointed. They make us feel as though she is the only person they have to care for.
