Georgetown Place

Administrator who talked with me was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am still undecided as to whether I am willing to move to the Fort Wayne area at this time. Thanks for your helpful information. I just have a lot of issues to work through before I come to a decision.

Mom has lived at Georgetown Place for over 2 years. She just loves it and feels like family there. Staff is very caring and friendly. So many activities and social events to keep mom young.

We selected GP because of all the activities it offered for residents. Also, it is big enough to make many new friends, but small enough that my dad gets the attention he needs. It's a pretty area with a pool, walking paths, and gardens. The shuttle service is great because my dad can't drive anymore. So, he isn't stuck inside all day if he doesn't want to be. He can go to the store, his doctor, on field trips, etc. It was a tough decision to move him out of his house and into a nursing home. But, we've been very happy with our decision. We know he is safe and getting excellent care.

My mom moved into Georgetown Place a few months ago and it has been a huge blessing for her and our entire family. We are so grateful for the wonderful staff who treats each resident with such kindness and compassion. We had two concerns for Mom - safety and sociability. There is round the clock nursing care available and emergency pull cords in each room of her apartment. Mom loves her spacious 2 bedroom apartment and the Maintenance Department has promptly addressed even the smallest concern. The entire building is meticulously clean. The restaurant staff learns each resident's name and provides delicious and nutritious meals. Our family members have eaten with mom several times and loved it! The Activities Director offers a variety of fun options for the residents to socialize and there are daily exercise classes. Plus, there is a swimming pool and walking paths. We absolutely LOVE Georgetown Place and highly recommend it!

Beautiful place with a warm and welcoming staff. I especially love the front porch, and all of the wide open green space for walks and outdoor living, and the updates they are making to keep the place looking loved and cared for.
