Kenz is great! She truly loved all of the residents and puts her heart into making their experience the best!

Great place to live and everyone is happy and friendly To add to my review, they began charging for “Enhanced Meal Plans”, activity packets that include word searches, sudoku, “special snack packets” which is all inclusive with your monthly payments. When I questioned it, I was told that they were allowed to do that and they the other rules didn’t apply. That’s false advertising to say at the least

I have moved here for a while now, and I can tell you that this place is absolutely fantastic. My medications are delivered to me three times each day right on time, and the staff is wonderful, friendly, and efficient. I have read some of the negative comments here, but I can tell you that I think most of them are being overly critical and much too picky. No place is perfect, of course, but I think this place is about as close as you're going to get to it in this day and age. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering living here. Best regards! 18 months …Awful care, awful food beautiful outside but staffing and overall care are bottom grade at best. Turnover is ramped and nursing does not respond to needs of the residence. Be aware and do not trust what your told. Lies and deceit were promised and that is all they have provided. Money driven and can careless about the residence. Cold food, cold cuts serviced daily, lack of staff per residence. Director level is combative and resistant to family involvement. BE AWARE … what you read is smoke and mirrors!!

I have had family members in Glasswater Creek Plainfield for over 1 year...and my opinion is NOT GREAT. I would rate overall experience a 2 out of 5 stars at best. This facility is beautiful and well appointed. The issue is not the building or the residence it appears to be the management company Gardant Properties. This management company picks and chooses who and when to enforce their rules...As well as who and when to enforce them. With COVID I understand we need to follow rules with MASK and Social Distance followed. Our loved ones follow the CDC guidelines. They wash hands, wear mask and Social Distance of 6’ as we all are living !!We are now told if we go to a doctor appointment they have to be evaluated and approved by the Administrator to return to their homes!!! On what basis are they qualified to make a decision on a return to their home !!If they leave they are restricted in their apartments for 14 days unless you want to challenge them. If you follow the rules your punished. We have been told “ if you don’t like it here you can find some where else to go” by the facility, State of Indiana Ombudsman, and Hendricks County CICOA. All of whom have been little to no help to this time. They are told “go back to your room” “your not to be out of your room” this causes stress and a shut down with out social interaction. Now doors are going to be locked !! Are you serious !!Tours are being done weekly and allowing outside people to visit, walk and see the apartments. While the residents are kept on “lock down” ...new move ins allowed weekly. With approx 17 new families ready to move in right now. This is putting our loved ones already in the facility in MORE DANGER!! With outside companies and outside family members moving in and out people in constantly.Nursing staff is provided by agency and travel nurses in most cases. Are they being locked down in their lives at home to protect our loved ones?? We have had nursing staff tested positive with COVID. We have had new people allowed to move in WITH COVID !! And our existing families are in “lock Down”!!Medication was and is an on going issue. We as a family took our medication admin back as the facility was completely in adequate. With missing medications and over admin of medication. The facility allowed medication to be missed and not refilled and allowed to run out!!Stories of residence pushing call buttons for attention going un answered for longer than an hour. Residence calling each other to try to help find a “Nurse” or “CNA” for help.Apartments have not been cleaned for up to 4 weeks at a time. Residence are elderly and paying for the service and all but told “we will get to it”. Touch points not cleaned, dead bugs in stairways for weeks. Clean the building properly and this will curb the spread of COVID. With laundry faculties un able to be accessed during the “Lock Down” periods. Laundry that is taken is all washed together with hot water causing damage. Food is better but has been short of editable during this time of their “Shut Down / Lock Down”. Drinking alcohol in public areas and in plain sight in the common areas. Drunk arguments and threading each other with police being called Numerous times!!Honestly we have reached out to State and County offices with little result or support. We have been evaluating new options as this seems to be an on going problem with many new staff and constantly changing Leadership. We are in the 4th Administrator and the 4th Director of Nursing in 1 year. This is at least the 5th chef we have had. Nurses change daily. As you can see this is a cause for concern and I encourage you to do your homework and talk to the actual people at this facility instead of what corporate office wants you to read.
