GLEN CARR HOUSE

Strictly accounting issue: My mother's estate is due a refund and I was told it would take up to 90 days to receive it. It has been 133 days and numerous phone calls and emails and still no refund. The accounting office has told me three different occasions the check is in the mail. Still no check. Very disappointed with how the accounting office is handling the situation. Very frustrating!

Both of my parents have been residents of Glen Carr House in Derby. They are cared for by caring, compassionate, loving staff. The facility is clean, comfortable, and has a homey feeling. The activities the staff provide are enjoyable. The staff have become additional members of our family because they not only take care of my parents, but of me too with their hugs and smiles.

Great place to live! The staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. There is always activities going on for their residents and they seem very happy and engaged. Glen Carr is an amazing Memory Care facility with caring, empathic and compassionate people that work there. I highly recommend this community.

On our arrival day the staff was welcoming and made sure our loved one’s transition was pleasant and a positive experience. They embraced us with care and made sure the move in process ran smoothly. My Mother lived at Glen Carr House for almost 3 years. We chose Glen Carr for the convenience of their location in Derby, but our main focus was the cleanliness and professionalism of the Glen Carr staff. It was refreshing to see how the residents were kept active during the day and each seemed very happy and content. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have maintained a safe and clean environment during Covid-19 and took every precaution to insure each resident's family that their loved ones are being well taken care of during the lockdown. As my Mother's dementia worsened we were able to transition her to Hospice without moving her. Through that difficult time the Glen Carr staff was absolutely amazing and supportive. My family and I would recommend Glen Carr House to anyone who is going through the difficult situation of a loved one experiencing Alzheimer's.
