GLENWOOD AT MULBERRY

​Glenwood at Mulberry Campus has been the best decision for our situation. Our loved one (lo) was declining at home with increasing sundowners, she needed the assistance we simply could not do on our own nor could we afford personal caretakers. Fighting against all my beliefs that you hear about Assisted Living or Memory care, we found what we believe to be the best care facility in the area. It was the BEST decision we have made thus far. Glenwood (the memory care facility on Mulberry Campus) is located only about 30 minutes from Lake Geneva, WI & approximately 2 hours from Chicago (give or take). The staff on the Mulberry Campus has been absolutely amazing to our lo. I can only speak for Glenwood but they treat every resident as though they are their own family member. Individual rooms with 2 wings make a small quaint living facility and more personal care. Each wing has a sunroom sitting area overlooking plush greens bringing the residents tranquility and peace. In the center is the tv / activity area and located towards the back is the dining. The secure courtyard in the back allows family members & residents to walk or wheel the beautifully landscaped grounds to picnic, play, plant flowers or just simply meditate listening to the sounds of nature. Shout out to Chad, Shantel, Erin, Gina and the entire staff who treat our lo as if she was their own. It's been 4 years and we are so proud to call the Glenwood family OUR FAMILY. We feel 100% comfortable with our lo's care and safety. I highly recommend it.

My wife Pat suffered from Alzheimer's and was a resident at Glenwood for 2 years prior to her passing. The care that she received was courteous, professional and loving. The staff always maintained an upbeat attitude despite the difficulty of their care giving responsibilities.

My grandparents are both in the memory care unit here. After my grandmother was absolutely miserable when she was at the memory center there, she's now happy amd joyful again, and has made many friends. The care provided has been excellent.

Since my Dad has been here at Glennwood at Mulberry, we have no complaints! He has been there from Dec. 2017 to present. I have found each and every care giver to go up and above their duties to every detail. My Dad says they make him his breakfast every morning as he likes, even two breakfast meats. I know the care givers are always busy with residents and can not always answer phone when it rings. I have managed to get someone if I wait a few minutes. The care the staff has for my Dad is touching and I'm impressed by this as we have 3 other care facilities to compare to.. all private pay too! The nurse administrator and director have always been there for me when I have a health concern, even the events planner has gone the extra mile providing furniture needs I have missed. But most importantly is my Dad does not complain and seems well and happy!

The caregivers here were good, however, due to managements desire to keep the rooms full, the care of the residents suffered. Promised staff ratios not met on a consistent basis which led to residents not getting the care that they deserve. Nurse was on duty, but was rude and not helpful. I did not have a good experience and would not recommend this location for your loved one.
