Glenwood of Effingham, The

Our dad moved into The Glenwood of Effingham in October 2025. From the moment he moved into until he passed away, the staff made him (and us, his family) feel welcomed and cared for. As dad continued to decline, the staff increased their support and care. During the last week of dad’s life, the staff on all shifts gave us so much help that he was able to stay at The Glenwood instead of moving to another facility. We are forever grateful for all of the staff at The Glenwood of Effingham. Extra kudos to Stephanie❤️

The staff and administration at The Glenwood were so personal, helpful and generous with my parents during their time at The Glenwood. The staff works very hard to meet the needs of the residents. It is a clean, inviting atmosphere that is welcoming to all members of the family.

The staff have been very kind and accommodating with my parents as they entered that stage of life where more help is needed. It isn't an easy job to deal with all of the different personalities and individuals who need extra care. I am happy that we found a place where my parents could feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and care.
