GOLDEN COVE ALF

I removed my father from one of the large corporate chains because of neglect, understaffing, and incompetence that nearly killed him. He's not only made an incredible physical and mental recovery under Yolette and Kim's personalized care at Golden Cove, but he's also very happy there. It's a smaller facility where your family member will be treated as person rather than a number. Golden Cove may not have a grand piano in their foyer, but the care is excellent, and the residents and their families are happy, which is what should be prioritized when evaluating ALFs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Golden Cove and Yolette. As a fellow ALF owner, I understand firsthand the level of dedication, knowledge, and compassion it takes to truly provide exceptional care-and this team absolutely delivers. Their experience is evident in everything they do. The warmth in how they treat residents, and the commitment to providing a safe, loving environment is truly top notch. This is not just a facility- it's a home. If I needed care for my own loved ones, this is without hesitation a place I would trust. That speaks volumes.

Golden Cove was an absolute blessing for my aging aunt, and for my wife and I, who had taken on the responsibility to care for her. What was important for us, was to find a place that would be comfortable for my aunt, but more importantly that would enable her to enjoy her remaining days. Golden Cove was amazing. We found a home that would provide the love and caring that anyone would want for a loved one. The Golden Cove provided a true "Home" atmosphere which is rare these days. Yolette, the owner and head nurse at the Golden Cove, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She helped my aunt transition from a skilled nursing facility to the Golden Cove. She and her wonderful staff ensured my aunt was provided all the care needed (meals, cleaning, medicines, entertainment, comfort). My aunt received the type of care anyone would want for their own mother or father. My aunt eventually needed hospice care, which she received while at the Golden Cove. Yolette leaned in to work closely with the hospice staff and ensured that process went smoothly. I cannot think of a more loving person than Yolette, to care for an aging loved one. Yolette was an absolute Angel for my aunt, my wife, and I. I will never be able to thank her enough for the love and support she gave us. With an owner and head nurse like Yolette, I would offer that Golden Cove is the best Assisted Living Facility in the state of Florida.
