Great place until the new owners took over in June 2025. It used to have a cozy family feel to the place. Now the majority of the original staff is gone, and they are charging an extra months pay starting in November as they said they are switching to a ‘every 4 week’ billing schedule which means the residents pay 13 months vs 12 months now. I wouldn’t even complain about the price if they offered additional services to the residents. The food has gone downhill. The level of care has declined but several staff members were able to get ‘new’ fancy titles. Also one of the owners lives in Michigan and has zero personal interaction with any of the residents unlike the previous owners. Currently looking elsewhere for my family member.

End of life for loved ones is very hard. Golden Crest made it as best as possible. Thank you.

I wondered how easy it is to get a hold of someone after hours and on the weekends. Turns out, I could not. Smaller is not always better. Also, they are cherry pickers. They don't want someone who requires a lot of work. The only facility thay makes you buy new furniture to become a resident there. Odd

The management of Golden Crest is top notch. The screening that is done to ensure that staff for the facility is great, as the employees who work at the location where my relative is, are always pleasant and caring. The facility is very well maintained. The activities coordinator does a great job of varying the events, and the two different music performers, do a fine job of encouraging resident participation. The food selections served are tasty and my relative has become a regular member of the clean plate club.

Always clean, the staff are very friendly, and has a very warm/at home atmosphere.
