I cannot express enough how deeply grateful I am for the exceptional care provided to my mother-in-law by Maricel and her team. From the very first interaction, it was clear that we had found a special place. The care my mother-in-law received was nothing short of outstanding as she was embraced as being “at home.” The staff is not only highly skilled but so thoughtful and deeply compassionate. Maricel has created a warm and inviting home atmosphere, making it feel like a true extension of family. All of the staff was thoughtful, patient, and attentive. They took the time to understand my mother-in-law's needs, preferences, and personality. It wasn’t just about meeting basic care needs—it was about creating an environment where she felt safe, and cared for. The thoughtfulness and kindness extended by the staff was truly priceless during a transition and time that was very difficult. Whether it was offering comforting words, engaging her in activities, or celebrating holidays and birthdays, it was evident that they truly cared about my mother-in-law's well-being, both physically and emotionally. Maricel was so thorough in keeping me updated and answering all of my questions. She gave me a peace-of-mind that I could not have imagined in this process. I can say without a doubt that my mother-in-law was receiving the very best care possible. I highly recommend Maricel and Golden Horizon to anyone in need of top-tier, compassionate care. The peace of mind it brought to our family is something we will forever be grateful for.

Our mother was a resident at Golden Horizon for 18 months. She was expected to be there for a short term but with the warm hospitality and care from the Golden Horizon wonderful staff she was able to prolong that. She was always treated as one of the family. They made my mother happy with their kindness, thoughtfulness and love. With that we are forever grateful that her stay at Golden Horizon extended our time to be with her when we always came to see her. Also the facility is clean and professional. We cant thank Maricel and the family enough for what they did.

Our mom was a resident at Golden Horizons for over 4 years. Our family is so grateful for the marvelous care she received there. It is a family business and Maricel and her family truly treated Mom as one of their own. They were kind and gentle and communicated so well with us. Even though our mom has passed, My sister and I have remained friends with Maricel💗 We were so lucky to have found this wonderful home for our mom!

When the time came to find a facility for my mother, there were a few things we looked for. First of all, the cleanliness of the facility. As we walked through the door to meet with Marisol for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised that the facility did not have the usual care facility "odor". That was my first impression. Secondly, we recognized that the staff were all very caring and compassionate towards the residents as well as the families of the residents. This was observed as we visited my mother on a daily basis, and at times was several times a day. We cannot thank Marisol and her family enough for the wonderful care they provided to our mother. We truly feel blessed that Golden Horizon was available for our mother.
