GOLDEN OAKS ASSISTED LIVING

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is very rude and demeaning. They have no activities for residents other than yatzee. Even though they have their own van many times you have to provide your own transportation to doctor appointments. They will only allow residents to go to Wal-Mart once a month other than that you are stuck in the house. The website says the property is on 8 acres but unless you are able to move freely on your own you can't enjoy it. The house sits on a hill and is not easy to walk the property

Our son has been there since July '18. He is "walker bound" and needs assistance with most ADL's, and medication administration. He is comfortable and safe.. We are impressed with the staff and administrator, Char. Our questions and concerns are always addressed. We couldn't ask for a better placement.

Very lovely place I bring my grandma cookies all the time.
