My sister was under the care of Alex, Dragana and their staff in hospice care. They are amazing people with huge hearts. They exceeded my expectations when caring for my sister. They tended to her every whim and need, made her feel comfortable, safe and loved and they cooked her nutritious and delicious meals. I am forever grateful to them for their support during a very difficult time. I highly recommend any of their facilities!

I can’t say enough how grateful I am to Golden Retreat and their staff. My father had dementia and was a very independent person. It was a difficult decision to move him to a care facility but the staff and owners did all they could to make the transition as easy as possible. Angela found a way to work with my dad to keep his spirits up and happy and found a way to work with our family and my dad through tough times. They often made him his favorite foods and drinks and sat with him outside which he loved. The facility is clean and my dad was always well groomed and looked after. When it came to end of life care, the staff did all they could to keep him comfortable and worked with hospice to ensure his medical attention was always the best. Aging parent care is never easy, but Golden Retreat helped to know that my dad was always in good hands.

It brings relieve to know that not only they explain every single detail about the process but to prove with time that your family member it’s being taken care of and confortable with everyone there. Alex and his team at Golden Retreat in Vista cared for my 94-year old Father. They were kind, and attentive to his needs. They provided my Father with the physical and emotional memory care that he needed and helped to reduce his anxiety. Alex has a real rapport with my Father. Alex and his staff are very observant regarding any health issues and were excellent at letting me know right away. The facility is very clean, comfortable, and home-like and there is a nice patio that my Father enjoyed on sunny days. The menu is developed by their on-staff dietitian and is nutritious and really good. My Father clearly enjoyed the meals that they served. I am so grateful for the care that Alex and his staff gave to my Father.
