GOLDEN RETREAT SHELTER CARE CENTER, INC.

I have dealt with the staff at Golden Retreat for several years. I have never witnessed any neglect or unsupervised neglect. The residents are fed several meals a day , they receive medical attention as needed, they receive counselling and on site doctor visits. This is just a few of the things that are provided at Golden Retreat. No, I don’t work there nor have I been a resident. I visit this facility often because of the staff and the love that is shown by the staff to the residents and the residents know they are loved. The staff provide various activities throughout the year for the residents. Now, I noticed a reviewer stating that the residents are outside. The residents are allowed free rein throughout the day. This is not a high level facility wherein they are on lockdown. They have a curfew at night. We need more facilities like Golden Retreat.

Recently visited folden retreat to my surprise the place was amazing. The staff were perfectly professional and the residents were happy. Most of all, the place was very clean.

I be around that neighborhood and at night people that are suppose to live in this Facility be out at night. If the Staff is there 24/7 then why are some of the People that are from that Facility are out around after 10 p.m.
