Golden Years Homestead

I was at Golden years for two months. Most of the staff are exceptional. I especially appreciate the kindness and patience of Rochelle and Angie. But housekeeping could improve. Deb Galloway

My sis was in the rehab area for almost 2 months. The staff was friendly & caring. The problem was getting the room cleaned. This was taken after 5 days of no cleaning the floor

My Grandma is at Golden Year and my aunt called my mom telling her all of her stuff is missing and she hasn't been giving a shower in awhile. Which this is basically neglect and you guys called my mom a month or so ago asking her why she trying to transfer my Grandma to another nursing home. Now you know why because you guys aren't paying attention to her hygiene and the fact she has missing items.

The staff is great overall with the residents but the compassion and caring goes out the window after your loved one dies. We had a horrible experience trying to get our loved ones room contents picked up. They play hardball and the lack of communication is pathetic.

Was visiting my grandmother this past weekend. I just wanted to give a shout out to a young lady who was helping with my grandmother and several other residents. I believe her name was Gabby and she was so patient and kind and had a super bubbly personality and went above and beyond even though the dept. seemed to be short handed. My grandmother told me she was her favorite. Thank you for the great care you give to her.
