Goldsboro Assisted Living & Alzheimer's Care

For 3 weeks I have reached out to Sherea Whitfield for assistance with my mother. I have called her over 6 or 7 times and always received the same excuse that her supervisor is out and will be back on Monday. She will have her look over the papers and call me back. It’s been 3 weeks and not one call has been returned. Caring for a family member with Dementia and Alzheimer’s is a challenging job. If I didn’t need the help, I never would have called the facility. At this point, is the supervisor ever on site or is that what you tell all potential residents family members.

My first time visit today, (2/4/22) and I was totally impressed! The facility was spotless, smelled very clean, and the staff was awesome...very friendly and compassionate. The residents’ rooms were so nice and clean, and lovely. The dining and game rooms were so inviting. The property and grounds were nicely groomed and manicured, for the residents to enjoy the great outdoors. I am thrilled that I found this facility for my loved one. I highly recommend this spacious facility, to anyone searching, for such a beautiful home away from home.

Visited today, clean, modern, masks required, sign-in and easy access in and out to major highways. Staff were very social able, quite and private.

I've never been in the actual facility, but have a loved one that lives in one of their independent apartments and they are amazing. Great community for elderly.

My mother stays at Goldsboro Assisted Living. She has Alzheimer’s and dementia. The hardest thing I have ever done is carry my mama to a place like this. Not exactly something you ever expect you will ever have to do. Brenda and Ann have been awesome throughout this all. They have been there to assure me that my mom would be well taken care of and she has. They do more than just look after her they care for her and My mom loves them. Mama considers this place her home and she is happy here. I could not ask for any better place to have my mom stay than here. I recommend this place to anyone’s loved ones who are needing a place for a family member where they can call home.
