This memory care center has provided my mother with compassionate, respectful, and attentive care. The staff are patient, kind, and truly dedicated to their residents. Our family has so much peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and loving hands. Highly recommended.

My housemate’s mother is in the Duncanville Senior Living Center and has been the resident who has lived there the longest (8 years plus). It has been a good facility for her over these years and is only a five minute drive from our house. She has received good care through the years by the facility both by management staff and the caregivers. Raven, the nurse, is responsive to the needs of the residents and jumps in to help staff if needed. Rashidat has been a faithful, personable, caring and efficient caregiver at the facility for a number of years. Jennifer also is a great caregiver on the team helping our loved one getting up in the morning and feeding her since she is bedridden. Tyeisha is careful as the Med Tech and jumps in to help in hands in caring for the residents. Chelsea also does a great job in giving out medications to the residents. Neisha, Esther, Julia, Jackie, and Whitney, during the afternoon shift are cheerful and interact with the residents while also providing friendly assistance to each one of them. They care deeply for the residents and carefully provide what they need and treat them with dignity and respect. Margie, the cook, provides wonderful meals for the residents and takes into account dietary restrictions. She bakes wonderful desserts such as Italian cream cake for special occasions and has a great sense of humor, willing to work long hours when needed. With the current management and staff I have no hesitation recommending Duncanville Senior Living.

My loved one has been at this facility for some time, longer than any staff member there. As a whole, the facility staff do a great job on individual care. They also work well with hospice staff, coordinating when things need to change for an aide’s vacation and such, watching to see that routines are followed. Raven, the nurse supervisor (not sure of her exact title), has the care staff well coordinated and working effectively together. Rashidat, longest on staff, knows the residents’ habits, likes, dislikes, all of it, and gives top notch care, interacting with residents’ families to be sure the residents have what they need. Jennifer, another longer term staff on day shift, also provides excellent care. My loved one has a bond with them and great confidence in them, which matters a lot for peace of mind. Since I work 8-5, I interact more with afternoon-evening shift staff, seeing my loved one daily. Tyeisha and Chelsea, afternoon/evening med techs, are careful and caring. Julia, Jackie, Nisha, Whitney, Taliyah, (I am sure I am missing someone I should remember), each one I have full confidence in. Family events, such as the recent Thanksgiving party, bring out the best in fun interactions between caregivers and residents, and Margie, the chef, always shines (the best Italian creme cake!) The building always smells clean when I walk in, and my loved one’s en suite bathroom is kept very clean. Common areas are kept clean and are seasonally cheerful but not overdone. Room temperature control is a problem during the heat of summer, though they made a change this summer that seemed to improve conditions. I might wish for the carpet to get cleaned more often, or dusting once in a blue moon, but in the things that really matter to my loved one’s well-being, they do their jobs well and with kindness and humor. With the current management and staff I have no hesitation recommending Duncanville Senior Living.

I am taking this opportunity and privilege to appreciate and give a 5 star review to Tiffany Price, who has frequently cared for my mom. Besides being professional and courteous Tiffany has been and is always willing to help in any way. Tiffany goes above and beyond what is expected. Before I moved back to the area she would always keep me apprised of what had gone on with my mom between visits. I always felt that mom was well cared for when Tiffany was on duty. I often observed her doing exactly what you would like to have done for your loved one. Our entire family mentions to me that Tiffany was and always is really respectful to mom. Most of us are elderly and that means a lot. Tiffany decorated mom's room for her birthday when she really didn't have to which brought mom much joy. What she considered "not much" meant a great deal to our family. Tiffany's greatest asset is her patient and kind demeanor. Always concerned that mom eats something and tries constantly to coax her out of bed for exercise. I have never once heard Tiffany complain about her job even when she is working a double she maintains that beautiful spirit. Lastly, most of the employees are wonderful and willing to help where needed but I have known Tiffany longer and this review is way overdue. Tiffany is a KEEPER!

Kim is such a fun-loving individual. She always goes above & beyond with the resident and always has words of encouragement to family members. The love she possesses for the residents, shines bright when she’s working. To seeing mom’s reaction & response to Kim when she talks to mom or myself, are the little blessings I’m so grateful to witness, but also thank God mom is filled with peace & she is happy, despite her condition.
