Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads

This review is based solely on the skilled nursing division. I chose this place for my dad after his release from Inova. While the communication between staff was sorely lacking, I believe that’s due to systems issues. I was asked by multiple people the same questions on multiple occasions. Overall the staff was caring and abided by my wishes for my dad. They did a good job of looking after him, despite him having a fall, which they told me about (they didn’t have to). No facility can watch you 24/7. A family member was present with the exception of one day of my dad’s stay. The food is very good and they provide a variety of options. The entire grounds are very clean and well kept. Many activities. My dad believed it was home by the end of his stay. Had he been mistreated, we would’ve known. I would entrust Goodwin with my dad’s care should it be needed in the future.

Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads was my parent's home for 15 wonderful years! They both used all levels of care, up to hospice, which was exceptional. Thank you for taking of my parents and friends!

My mother was in rehab at GHBC. Great experience! The staff was very kind and communicated throughout the rehab process. Within a few weeks, the therapists had my 94 year old mom up and walking. The facility needs a refresh and the food could be better (a chili dog for dinner for the elderly???), but overall very positive.

Family member enrolled in home hospice. Excellent care from very responsive team- day and night. Knowledgable staff, great CNA care. Thank you for all you did.

I've lived here almost 10 years and love being with interesting residents and caring staff. I really appreciate the support from Tiffany Proctor, Director of Life Enrichment and Elizabeth Whitehouse, Cultural Events Manager. They always have big smiles no matter what we ask of them. The recent holiday meals were elegant and delicious - kudos to the cooks and the servers.
