GOVERNOR'S RIDGE

My Dad planned to move in and enjoy the community but just before he was to move we had to take him to the hospital. He was released from the hospital into hospice care. The staff at GR was over the top accommodating from day one. As we navigated hospice and what care Dad needed GR (Mackenzie and Bethany and the whole staff) met us where we were and adjusted his care sometimes it seemed on a daily basis. Dad lived at GR for just shy of 3 months before passing...GR was instrumental in making him comfortable and supporting our family throughout the entire time. The nurses day and night responded quickly and were kind and compassionate. Always there to assist and go out of their way if needed. Top Notch facility due to Leslie and her staff. My mother was able to stay here for 1-1/2 years. I wish it could have been many more. Wonderful, caring people. Plenty of activities, nice rooms, good food - more like a family. Bethany and Mackenzie are fantastic and on top of everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for mom.

My brother and I will will always be grateful to the staff at governor's ridge for taking care of my sister for 10 years. She would still be there if she had6 not needed another level of care and is now in a rehab facility. The entire time that she was here she was always treated with kindness and caring. There was never a problem with the staff. Leslie, Bethany, and Mackenzie were always glad to talk to us about her care. Thank you to all of the staff for taking such good care of my sister for so long.

My mother is a resident at Governor's Ridge I can honestly say she is so happy and the care and love she receives is so heartwarming to me. I am an only child and she lived with my husband and I for 9 years it was a very hard decision to have to make to move her. I am truly blessed to have found my way to their door. My sister has been living at Governor’s Ridge for eight years. During that time we have found the entire staff to be 100% caring, patient, and kind. Lines of communication with administrators are open and reports on my sister’s condition are timely. The atmosphere is casual and homey. The facility has always been clean. There are nice activities and entertainment. Before moving my sister to Governor’s Ridge we checked out all the homes closer, but none compared. Even though it is a 30 minute drive we have never regretted our decision
