I am for please wit this new and improved management team you have employed over the years. The ladies at the front desk get a five star from my wife and I. They are heartfelt and professional when helping customers . The maintenance Team has fulfilled my last 4 request in a timely order. And Felicia Robertson has been so helpful Since she took charge in her new role as the Head manager here at Harper Place. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen. You work never go unnoticed. Have a great year in 2026

Great experience with maintenance man Hasani! Very proficient and knowledgeable. To no fault of his though, the complex takes ENTIRELY TOO LONG to complete maintenance requests. Its averaging 4 days at this point which is unacceptable. But the maintenance men get it done and done well! Love the space in my apartment as well

I am so disappointed with Harbor Place! It's one catastrophe after another. Please read the reviews before even considering moving into this place. My original move in date September 24th; the unit had a link on the third for they had to push it back. I enter another unit it was fine until I received my keys on October 6th. The building has un invited guest (roaches) not acceptable. I haven't even moved in as of yet because of the guest. I request to be transferred to another unit in the complex. The assistant property manager stated I have to wait six months. Not Happy. I have talk with one of the employees on that work here. They informed me that section I am staying in has nothing but problems with roaches. I reached out to the leasing office there going to include my unit on the list to Extermination. They need to exterminate the whole building not just one unit. I'm going to take this matter up to higher chain or break my list. Im very disappointed. I have put a service request in for the low water pressure. The window screen need to be replaced. The electric socket has not been fixed. It has been now 15 days. Nothing has been done as of yet.

Unless you are tight on money, do not live at Harbor Place. Good space for a decent price on a budget. And I will say this - the maintenance staff, Todd and Hasani, are nice and attentive. But they can only do so much once the situations have gotten out of their control. Over the last few months we lived here, we had to deal with the following: a broken dishwasher that took 4 months to replace, I had to complain to corporate for that. We had part of our roof blown off which caused water damage to our bedroom ceiling, we had to sleep in our living room for a week until it got fixed. And most recently our AC went out 3 different times, fixed twice by maintenance until they said we needed a contractor. The office then proceeded after it broke the 3rd time (June 13th) that HAVC would come on June 18th or 19th, then they pushed it back to June 23rd. When finally it got fixed on June 25th, AFTER the hottest day in Maryland already happened (it reached 103 degrees, 97 degrees in our apartment at one point) by the time it was replaced, it had been nearly three weeks since it initially went out. And we didn’t get a portable AC unit until a day before it was fixed. That is because there were so many broken units and they were at once trying to get them all fixed. Ridiculous. This is the worst, most rude office staff you will deal with. I would not recommend living here unless you are insanely strapped for cash. If you could afford anything better I WOULD NOT MOVE HERE. The only reason why I waited this long to put this review up is because the office is so petty I knew they would delay what we needed fixed because they knew we were moving out in a month. I know management likes to respond to these emails saying please reach out to express your concerns, we did express them when we lived here and you didn’t give a damn. FIND BETTER!

Pros: - nice 1 bedroom apartment space for the price.. bedroom is big get 3 closet in the room - staff is usually friendly and helpful - dog park is nice if you have a small dog - pool - nice sized patio and living room space - quiet neighborhood. - recommend top floor for less noise - safety score 3.7/5) Cons: - I lived in the apartment with mold in the bathroom for 11 days until it was removed after multiple emails and phone calls to leasing office - they don’t check these apartments fully before moving new tenants in so you will be fighting to get stuff fixed and replaced - Dog park not big enough for medium- large dogs - bugs from initial move in even though they claim exterminators come every Tuesday. - Staff needs approval from property manager before doing simple fixes. - property manager hard to get in contact with through email. - you can hear neighbors coming in and out of apartments - have to pay for visitor parking and it’s limited. - maintenance request are usually not done same day or next day because they are backed up from buildings being old and needing overall upgrades. ** photos are from initial move in up till 11-12 days later for the last photo which is a new vanity and flooring for the bathroom **
