Graceful Living Assisted Living

My mom took up residence at Graceful Living last week. One thing that impressed me was the staff's working together and making the room with her things.My mom is very impressed with the food ! The residents and staff I've met are friendly. The only thing that didn't score 5 was because she just moved it.

I have been preaching services for the residents at this facility for over 20 years and have the seen the good, the bad, and the ugly over the years. This facility recently changed hands and is now Graceful Living. I have seen a LOT of VERY positive changes taking place here under the new management who just took it over a few months ago. The facility is much cleaner, there are a lot more activities for residents, the workers are nicer and more competent, and the residents themselves seem to just be a lot happier than before the ownership change (when it was still Carlyle of Carrboro). I am very impressed with what I've been seeing here recently!

I help a dear friend who has been at this facility for 2 years. The first year, when they were under different ownership (Carlisle), the atmosphere was, how shall I say, frightening. Now, under new ownership Graceful Living, the place smells great, the residents have their needs met in a timely fashion, the food is much better and they have lots of activities to choose from. We are very happy with the changes.

ALERT! Graceful Living Assisted Living is under new management as of November 1, 2024. New ownership, new management and new employees. No connection with the old operators (Crescent Green and Carlisle of Carrboro). The old negative reviews from 2-8 years ago are not relevant to the new facility and we are working to get them removed. Do not believe them. Come see for yourself how clean and well-run the new facility is. The new administrator, Amy Fox, will be glad to give you a tour!

This facility is very clean and refreshing. The staff are very nice and very attentive to the residents! The meals are home cooked and nutritious also. Activities are provided and help with socialization. Everyone has been very reassuring as we recently moved our mother in.
