Grand Brook Memory Care

My family member is a resident here and i highly recommend this memory care facility. The executive director Sam is fantastic, The caregiver and all the staff they’re doing a great job. The building is beautiful and always clean. Natalia is the director of engagement and she is amazing. She does a fantastic job coordinating and providing activities for all the residents and is clearly a genuinely kind and compassionate person. The caregivers her thorough with her job and very kind and compassionate. My mother receives excellent care with compassion and dignity. My family member has never had a complaint about our food they provide. They have an open kitchen concept, which is awesome. Leah repairs a good food menu and all the kitchen staff do a great job. ALL The staff works together to provide A cozy home environment for all the residents, and you will never hear anyone ever say the phrase that’s not my job. You will from time to time see “office staff” Sam, Tammy, Rachel ….all/any of them working and helping on the floor wherever needed. I apologize if i have the name wrong(I am horrible with names) Sandy does great job with housekeeping . She goes above and beyond and she will also help out with any caregiving needs as well. They do a great job with dispensing medication. Their maintenance man also does an excellent job, he will do anything he can at any time to help. Overall, it’s a beautiful facility. The billing is beautiful. It’s clean, never smiles and is filled with very kind, compassionate, and excellent workers throughout. I am grateful to each and everyone of you and I highly recommend this memory care facility

My mother has been a resident at Grand Brook for only a couple of months, but it has been the most wonderful experience for her so far. The staff is so caring and loving with the residents, there are activities every day, the building is always clean and beautiful, the residents are incredibly well cared for, the food is home made and delicious. I can't say enough good things about Grand Brook. I'm so grateful to have such a lovely place for my mom to live.

My mother has been a resident at Grand Brook for 9 months. After visiting and researching many other assisted living facilities in the area that include memory care, Grand Brook surpassed all of them. What stood out is that the entire facility is dedicated to memory care. The staff are amazing people who are professional and compassionate. My mom was very resistant to move from her home to a facility. She now knows Grand Brook as her home. She enjoys the games, arts and crafts, special guests, and musical entainment. Feeling confident that my mom is not only being cared for, but that she is receiving LOVING care every day is such a blessing. The words thank you aren't big enough to express my gratitude.

When faced with the reality of moving a loved one out of their home, there is so much to consider. Will they be happy? Will they be properly cared for? Will the staff understand and tend to their needs adequately? Having worked for some time with the Geriatric and Dementia community, I can say with full confidence that the answers to these questions are not always "yes". So when the time came to make this move for my step father, our family combed through numerous facilities before coming across Grand Brook. Grand Brook is not only aesthetically beautiful, it is so clearly designed to meet the safety and quality of life needs of its Residents. From senior leadership to front line staff of all disciplines, they understand dementia and the importance of individualized (sometimes outside the box) care and they do so with the most empathetic approach. They have not only embraced our Step Father, but our whole family, in navigating this process. I will be forever grateful for their care, compassion, understanding, and the peace of mind that they have provided for us.

I cannot say enough about Grand Brook Memory Care of Grand Rapids! Moving our Mother from her previous facility to Grand Brook was a very difficult decision for us, but we are so happy that we did! The staff at Grand Brook is second to none, they are the most kind, loving accommodating group of people I have ever met, they listen to our every need and they truly love their job! It does my heart so good to know that she is loved and taken care of just like we as her family would. The facility is absolutely beautiful as well, clean, bright, cheery and cozy!! There is no place I would rather have her be, she is in such good hands at Grand Brook! We are so thankful everyday with our decision to move her there, and for the wonderful people that are taking care of our beautiful mother! Thank you Grand Brook, you are truly angels on earth!! ❤️🥰
