Grand Brook is a wonderful facility. It has a welcoming and clean atmosphere. Everyone I have met has been very caring and loving to the patients and their families. I would 100% trust and recommend this facility for a loved one.

We have been a Grand Brook Fishers family for one year now and have nothing but positive things to say about the facility, the staff and the care that our father receives. We are in the facility everyday and spend a great amount of time there. We see first hand how the amazing staff treats each and every resident. They truly take the time to get to know the residents where they are now, and who they were prior to coming to Grand Brook with dementia. Residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. We appreciate that management always has their doors open and welcomes questions and concerns. We always feel very comfortable to discuss anything and often pop in to ask questions. We’ve always been given the time to do so, our questions have always been answered, and any concerns addressed promptly. We fully trust the care and opinions of the staff and know our father is in great hands. We especially appreciate how Grand Brook makes sure that families are welcomed and included in daily life there. We have young children and they love to visit, not just their Grandpa but other residents as well. Between the lovely family events that Grand Brook holds throughout the year to activities that all family members can attend, it’s a warm and welcoming place for the whole family! In my opinion the biggest strength of Grand Brook is the atmosphere that they create there. It feels like a home and all of the staff, residents and resident’s families all feel like one big family. It’s been a joy to meet and get to know the lovely people of Grand Brook!

My wife has been a resident since Dec 24’ and I believe the care she has received is overall outstanding, and well above industry standards. This is her third facility after elopement issues and worsening of her memory disease, so I feel like I can offer perspective on strengths and weaknesses of Grand Brook. Grand Brook is a wonderful physical facility. The courtyard offers a perfect space for family and visitors to enjoy with residents. Keeping common and individual spaces clean and well maintained is a never ending and exhaustive task and the staff does their best to do so. I’ve never had a request for help or assistance in facility issues that wasn’t promptly addressed. In my opinion staffing levels are adequate. We would all like our loved ones to be in protective bubbles that prevent falls and offer immediate care when the normal memory care behavior issues occur. I’m frequently on site for long stretches of time and have never witnessed a staff member be anything but patient and professional in dealing with resident issues. This is a very difficult industry to find and retain qualified staff and I believe Grand Brook is doing a good job. Food is a sensitive issue for all. Let’s be real this is not a high end spa suitable for every Foodies needs. In my opinion the food is always hot and plentiful. Through the efforts of the Family Council quality and variety of meals have improved and I have no doubts that my wife is getting proper nutrition. I can’t say enough about the supportive environment of management, staff, and family members that make Grand Brook a safe and protective environment for our loved ones. I’ve experienced other more corporate driven facilities where watching training videos trumped resident care, and responses to family concerns were totally ignored. The fact that Grand Brook has a Family Council that ownership is responsive to is a significant differentiator. The Community Relations Director and Staff are not used car salespeople trying to get another warm body into the facility. They make a constant effort to understand the needs and support required for residents and family members a like. My wife has had a number of physical challenges and emergencies that have required considerable communication and timely coordination with Grand Brook Management. In every situation this has been a totally collaborative effort with a focus on arriving at the best possible solution for all involved . Their experience and professionalism has been a real asset. I firmly believe that Grand Brook is an exceptional value, with a committed team willing to do what’s best for residents and families.
