GRAND ISLAND COUNTRY HOUSE, LLC

Four months ago I made the decision to move my mother from KC to Grand Island and into Country House. I could not be any happier with this decision. Country House doesn’t just fill time with busy activities they create moments day after day. The residents live within a family type atmosphere and the employees are genuinely desiring to serve, help and love the residents. My mother has improved in many ways over the last 4 months! I have highly recommended Country House to anyone who will listen.

I think this place is just great. My mother has been in there almost a year now and they always take really good care of her and all the other patients. I love all of the activities that they have even though mom can’t enjoy them all it is just wonderful what they do for the patients . The staff always seem to be very happy with smiles on their faces and they are a joy to be around . They are very accommodating to us around the holidays and try to make it very special for all the patients . I really enjoyed being able to go to the website and see pictures of all the things that they do . That is also a great help for my siblings that live a long ways away and don’t get here often to see mom .

Being in a health care field you see many Assisted Living/ Nursing homes and Country House is one of the top facilities I have been in with amazing staff, residents who are very well taken care of and a joy to be around, along with a very clean and welcoming feeling of being at home when you walk through the doors. Country House cares very deeply for their residents with all the activities, trips, and community involvement that they provide and my children love going there and participating in all the gatherings that they offer for the community and families. Keep it up Country House!!

My mother was a resident of the facility for several years and it was a fantastic experience! When it comes time to place a loved one into a care facility, it is daunting and flat out scary. CountryHouse made the experience as smooth and offered the “peace of mind” that my mother would receive the care she required. Every individual cares for each resident as though they were a family member of their own. They understand in ways I would’ve never imagined, from my own perspective as a son. They made this time so much easier, helped me understand what my mother was facing and put our entire family at peace! We are indebted to Nicole and her team!

The staff Interact with the residents one on one or in a group setting. There is always entertainment such as music events and pet therapy. They take them out of the facility on safe and secure bus outings. The residents are always clean. It is a open and lit environment. Staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional. Staff will sit down and eat with the residents as if they were in their own home.
