GRAND LIVING AT TUSCAN LAKES

Don’t let these people fool you. The staff that work with your parents are genuine, caring people-however, their bosses in corporate are not. This facility is corporately owned and only interested in the bottom line. They will kick you memory care parent out if they feel that they are too much work…so this is not an age in place facility. They won’t use belts or hoyer lifts and will say that your loved one needs them-even when our dad has moved to a different facility and doesn’t need them. Would not recommend ever.

Where to even begin with this place. First and foremost, this property is off the charts in terms of amenities, architecture, and just pure class. My grand mother currently resides in here, and she loves each and every resident and personin this place. Staff members call her by name, to the point where every interaction is personal, and most of all genuine. Shout out to Mary Ann and Jeri who my Nanna will ask for personally. There were so many I wish I could write the entire staff list. To EVERY single staff member, thank you from the bottom of our heart everything you all do for our very special lady!

One year ago I moved my mother from FL to be closer to me in TX. She has dementia and I did not know where to start. A friend of mine already had a parent/resident in AL at The Grand Tuscan Lakes and introduced me to Toni Craig. She was extremely inviting and patient with my many questions/concerns and gave an exceptional tour, not once but twice so my husband could see the place too. The overall staff has been nothing but friendly every time I've interacted with any of them. I decided that Luminations was the best fit for my mom to make her home. She is currently in Monarch and over the course of this past year has made exceptional strides. Stephanie Elkins, the director of Luminations, does an outstanding job leading a team that shows dedication, positive attitudes, and above all CARE for these residents. Memory care is a different environment and takes special people to be in this field. Stephanie is one of those special people, she has a natural demeanor about her that makes each resident feel special. Quinn who leads the residents in many engaging activities is also excellent with the residents. She's always trying to find new things to bring smiles to their faces. Stephanie, Quinn and the many other staff members make a great team. I am so happy I made the decision to move my mom to The Grand Living Tuscan Lakes and know she is in good hands with the Luminations/Monarch team. I sleep better knowing she is safe, loved and treated like a family member.

My mother in law is in this facility in league city, Texas and is thriving. She loves it there. She is in the Monarch section and is very happy. The workers are so great and treat her so nicely. Stephanie Elkins the Luminations director of this is the sweetest person. She shows genuine respect and care for my mother in law. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support our Mom receives at Grand Living in the Memory Care neighborhood. She’s been there 15 months and is thriving! It’s evident that residents are treated with dignity, compassion and respect and are able to live a full life. The team provides daily enrichment, exercise, consistent care and a wide variety of activities that keep the residents engaged. This was an incredibly hard decision for our family and we visited 6 different communities to ensure we found the perfect place. Grand Living has given us peace of mind to know that our Mom is safe and her well-being is priority. The care team and med techs go above and beyond to create a warm, supportive, healthy and fun environment. A very special heartfelt thank you to Stephanie and Quinn. We couldn’t do it without you. You make Monarch special in every way and go above and beyond the job. Your dedication is unmatched and your kindness gives us tremendous comfort. We could not ask for a better team.
