GRAND VILLA OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS

Five stars! I am a resident here. I could not be happier. Nurses are amazing & always available. Food is delicious and staff so friendly. We do fun activities. My favorite is trying different restaurants in Altamonte Springs. And they take us shopping! 5 star resort style living! I love it here.

We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff at Grand Villa Altamonte Springs who made a significant difference in our mother, Elizabeth Standafer’s time there from September 2024 to December 2025. First, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Rita Saulsberry. Rita assists in the main dining room during singing activities and other events. She consistently went above and beyond by coming to our mother’s room and helping her over to the 100 building, ensuring she had a front-row seat to enjoy the music and singing. Rita even danced with our mom by her chair, bringing immense joy to her. She is truly in the right profession and a blessing to all who have the pleasure of meeting her. Luz from housekeeping is another gem at your facility. Her attentiveness and caring nature were evident as she always kept an eye out for the needs of the residents. Luz’s kindness and spirituality were very appreciated especially during our mom’s final days, as she offered prayers and comfort to both our mom and our family. Also, she ensured our mom’s room was very clean and pleasant. Many blessings to her for her exceptional service. Luiz from Maintenance was always reliable and a hard worker. Whether it was adding cable to the room or moving furniture, Luiz completed tasks swiftly and with a smile. His helpful and pleasant demeanor made a notable impact on our experience. Jamara, one of the Supervisors, also deserves special recognition. Her excellent care and communication were invaluable. She promptly informed me of any concerns and implemented necessary safety measures for our mom, such as a raised toilet seat, an elevated bedrail, and non-slip grips on the floor near the bed and bathroom. Jamara’s warm and caring personality, coupled with her sincere hugs, reassured our family that everything was running smoothly. Bernice, the Physical Therapist who was consulted for our mom, provided range of motion exercises and instructed on daily activities and fall prevention. Her upbeat and positive attitude was a great hope during challenging times. Bernice’s follow-up calls and genuine concern for our mom’s well-being made our family feel incredibly supported. The entire staff at Grand Villa Altamonte Springs were always kind and worked diligently to make our mom’s stay as pleasant as possible. However, we wanted to particularly acknowledge the individuals named above for their outstanding care and dedication. They went above and beyond in their duties, making a lasting impression on our family. We do hope they each are acknowledged and can know how much we appreciated them. Thank you for the cherished memories and for making our mom’s time at your facility more peaceful. We will always remember the exceptional care and compassion shown by your team. The entire staff is amazing!! They make you feel so welcome and like you are apart of the family. It’s been such a blessing to have my mom there where I know she’s well taken care of. There are so many wonderful things for her to do to stay busy and engaged with that she is really thriving there. 😊 Lori Robb, personally has sent me pictures and updates of my mom during her first week there that really put my mind to ease and the whole staff is so amazing that my siblings and myself have said we’d love to stay there ourselves which is what everyone what’s for their loved ones. 💕

The facilities at Grand Villa are beautiful, but what really solidified the decision to move my mom to this community was the team. In the beginning and all the way past move in, I've had a million questions on top of this transition being quite challenging for my mom, and everyone there has been so willing to help - the director Marshall, who took the brunt of my barrage with patience, Lori, who not only helped with logistics but was always there to hold my hand, Kim, who is attentive to my mom's care needs in this transition and willing to communicate, the maintenance team, who has been on top of helping it feel like home, and the front desk crew, who are always so kind and helpful. I'm very thankful.

Enjoyed a recent visit with my mother. She has been talking about it nonstop. She loved the pool and made friends with a couple of residents. We also had a lovely conversation with a woman who works here and she was absolutely lovely and so informative, her name was Lori. If you are looking for a place for your parents I would recommend speaking to her she is very friendly and happy and seems to really care about the well being of the residents.
