I would not recommend this facility to any family seeking respectful, consistent care for their loved one. The owners are dismissive and, at times, outright rude. Communication is poor, accountability is lacking, and basic rights—things as fundamental as dignity, privacy, and humane treatment—are disregarded.

Grand Vista is not a place I would ever place my family members at. The food is either frozen or comes out of a can, it taste horrible. They are having an issue from bed bugs, that has spread from room to room and even to the staff. Med errors are ridiculous, not addressed by nurse either. Most of the errors are caught by a third party. Good luck finding a nurse during the morning hours, she is spread to thin. Owner hardly there, sells you a bill of goods that you never receive. He cares about the money. High turn over rate for the staff as they are under paid and underappreciated. A handful of the staff actually care and good at their jobs. It's truly sad when I was visiting the place to see if it was fit for my mother and I was informed of this by staff, residents, and residents family. Such a shame as the Grand Vista looks to be a beautiful place.

Grand Vista is experiencing a bed bug epidemic. It was discovered 2 months ago that one resident had bed bugs. The owner didn't do enough about the outbreak and now 3 resident and 2 staff members have bed bugs. Please don't consider this place for your loved one. The owner cares nothing about the care of his residents, only the $4,000+ monthly charge.

Grand Vista is an amazing place to take you family member. Dustin is a great person to communicate with. I've had my mom there for three years now and wouldn't put her anywhere else.

We were sold a bill of goods by the owner. Very disappointed. If you truly love your parents keep looking. The staff has been very kind to my parents. Although there is a big turn over on employee’s. I’m sure they leave because the conditions they need to work with are not great. Never a nurse on the property during a weekend. Trying to find the nurse during the week is a challenge. Meals come out of a can or freezer and they always run out of condiments. When items run out you could go up to six weeks without it. Meals are atrocious. Be careful what you sign on to. Dustin has been very smart beating the system. He keeps his building to 20 residents so he doesn’t have to deal with state regulations. We as residents or family don’t have a lot of support to get things changed. The staff is overworked and I’m guessing underpaid. It all comes down to poor management.
