Jim and his staff took great care of my mother during her stay at Grand Vista II. Mom made some great friendships during her time there. Grand Vista is the leading care facility in the area.

I moved my parents (Fred and Deanna Hobart) to Grand Vista. My mom was a high needs resident. Her time spent here until she passed, was an emotional time for our family. The staff here was exceptional and caring. They went the extra mile and were always on top of things in making her comfortable and taking care of her needs. As my dad is still living here, we know hes in good hands. I highly recommend Grand Vista to any family looking for a loving environment for a family member. Because of a sad set of circumstances that became a nightmare, I became aware of Grand Vista Assisted Living and I can't be More Grateful to Jim Maxson and his professional staff! Knowing that my mother was on borrowed time, Jim offered to let us stay for just the amount of time needed for my Mom to pass, unlike all the other facilities in Coldwater that want one month up front with no refunds even if you passed the second day there. For only being there 9 days, myself and my family felt perfectly at home! My Niece or myself were able to stay every single night with my Mom with all the comforts of home. We didn't have to worry about Mom ourselves, as Jim's nursing staff were top notch on checking on her every 2 or so hours without fail. For that short stay there, they not only took excellent care of my Mom, but they always offered me anything they could get or do for my comfort, including feeding me!!!! I highly recommend Grand Vista Assisted Living for Yourself or any loved ones you want to know are in good caring hands!!!

My mother-in-law lived here for 1 1/2 years. She was happy several of her friends passed in a short time and one move to a different facility. She decided she wanted to move too. They say that the grass only looks greener on the other side of the fence. BOY WAS THAT TRUE! After 6 months she decided she wanted to go back to Jim's. She was so happy to get her old room back. Jim and Monica have made allot of changes for the good. Monica has put together a great team of girls. They all get along ,work great together and are very compassionate. Sadly shortly after she moved she had a stroke. Jim took her back when she left the hospital the girls and Hospice took care of her in her last days.we are so happy her final days were where she wanted to be. I would highly recommend this place, it is not easy for the elderly to move and deal with big changes especially when they are very sick. Most places would send you off to a nursing home but not Grand Vista.

We placed my FIL there for respite care in 2021 for 3 months. He came back to live with us. Then upon returning for respite again while we took a vacation out of the country. He loved it so much he decided to stay. I love that he can age in place in his apartment. This means a lot to an elderly person. They do not enjoy being moved and having to make new friends. I have noticed they form a family together. We enjoy eating with him at times and enjoy the home cooked meals. Having experienced other assisted livings and going through some stressful situations, I can say Grand Vista is Most definitely a 5 plus star!
