Green Acres-Supportive Care

Recently visited my father for a visit. Obviously these visits can be difficult and emotional. The staff at the facility have been wonderful and make our visits pleasant and fun! They are very helpful and accommodating. Leaving my dad that day he commented what a “fun” visit it was and that would not have been possible without the support of the staff! Thank you!😀🥰

When I walked into Green Acres for the first time June 6th 2024, everyone greeted me with kindness and asked if there was anything I needed. Jess and Cassie the directors were very helpful and patient!! Very clean environment and well organized for meals and activities!! Great Job Everyone!! 👍👍 Eventually I would like to be here if needed!!

The management and head nurse are a joke. They are firing people to keep their jobs. The food is terrible for what residents pay

I have been visiting this facility for several years, and love the caring and helpful atmosphere. I am with the West Michigan Therapy Dog club, and have brought my dogs in to perform and visit with the residents there, and have seen the care these people get, and the trips they take outside of the building. There's an interest and caring by the staff that far out reaches a nurse/ patient relationship......It's more like a family there. I have worked in nursing all my life, and I know what to look for. Green Acres is one of my favorite places to visit.

While I have no complaints about the care given my mother medically I am disappointed in the communication by Green Acres afforded members of the family. When my mother was sent to hospice, I was not notified, nor have I been notified of significant events in changes in her health. I have changed states of address and notified Green Acres of my new address, assured it was documented, then received absolutely no information of events. Very, very poor communication by management. Really, this is so important to family!
